hintayin nyong magka- Ipad 3, sure ko mumura rin yang Ipad 2 :-D
hay pinagloloko talaga tayo ng mga Apple dealer na yan, bakit hindi pa biglain ang specs. Parang i-touch first gen, walang camera, abay pinaabot pa ng 4th gen para lagyan ng camera. pwede naman lagyan na ng camera, eh halos kasabayan lang ng mga "china" mp3 na nabibili sa quiapo may built in cam na, kaya ang mga apple fanatics gastos ng gastos (who cares hindi ko naman pera yun hehe). pag may lumabas na bagong generation, benta ang luma then bili ng bago. hayyy mabuti nalang at wala akong pambili hehehe.

saka ikinukumpara nila sa galaxy tab...well,to tell you the truth the ipad IS a samsung after all hehehe...the only thing apple about it is the OS...everything else well....made by asians :-D

You do understand that Apple is a for-profit company? It's always been about the money (& not exactly the customer).
Anyhow, I think mas successful yung products nila over the cheaper products (that are supposed to do the same thing) kasi no one else has the same ecosystem (iOS). No one's got an App Store like theirs. You could sync your media from one place (iTunes) to your tablet, mp3 player, and phone. And there are apps that integrate your Mac & iOS devices (Plex comes to mind. I use it all the time).

iPad 2 was launched yesterday at Power Mac branches! :D I got myself a White 64GB Wifi for 33,990. The cheaper Smart Cover is 2,090.

Apple actually prices their products very well. the 33,990php Ipad 2 64GB Wifi model is the same price as when the 1st gen Ipad 64GB model came out. now, they decreased the price of the 1st gen Ipad to give way to the Ipad 2.
they're not like most music stores that jack up the price of the new guitar models while leaving prices of discontinued models as is. :lol:

So true :lol: I guess they're just trying to profit from it.. but still. Mas mura pa minsan na ipaship from abroad :lol: unlike Apple products. Di naman malaki ang patong (lalo na when we consider shipping/logistics here).
eh kahit yung ipad1 wifi naman na talaga diba?? :)
Lahat ng iPad may wifi :-) it's just that.. some have 3G :-) the wifi only models are cheaper though. My 32gb ipad 1 na wifi only serves me well enough :-D not much use sa akin yung 3g.

i really commend Apple for doing that. keeps the customers coming back for more. :lol:

Hmm. Can't really remember. But it wasn't that big. Although now, even with a lot of apps downloaded, marami pang space. Since may iPod for music & external hdd for my movies, di ko rin nalalagyan masyado ng files. Siguro I'd put a movie or two "to go" pero dinedelete ko rin after eh. Pero if you'll place those media files in it, baka sulit nga mag 64 gb. On my nano na 16gb, sagad na sagad sa music :lol:

same case with me, i have an external hdd for my movies but i don't have a music player so most probably that will take up the most space if ever. might go for the 64gb since sa tingin ko naman magtatagal sa akin 'to. :-D

Tamang tama for music yan :-D lalo na kung medyo high quality sila. yeahh. mukhang matibay naman siya. Yung older ipods ko, hard drive lagi ang sira. But with the flash drives, oks naman so far :-)

Truly.. they seem to be planning a lot of stuff. Rumor mills suggest an iPad HD with the capability to run big apps like Final Cut or Aperture for pros on the go. That would be cool.
But I think they will make more money on the rumored iOS devices. A higher end iPhone and a lower end iPhone that would be priced like a lower end Android phone. Plus there's that rumor of the iTouch gaining 3G connectivity.
i bought ipad apps in apps store..though it says that im syncing applications, after syncing is done apps were not on my ipad..ive pretty much done everything i saw in the internet, apple support forum, etc., ..even updated my ipad to the latest OS..d ko pa din malagay new apps ko sa Ipad ko... :x
Here's my thought of buying ipad..
Specs: at the time i had money for buying.. i was choosing on 32 gig wifi, or 16 gig wifi-3g..i really dont need 3g then..pretty much everywhere is a wifi zone(Even on Buses)..i really dont need to pay extra cost of 6k-7k more for just a power sim inserted in my Ipad..may Globe Pocket wi-fi naman eh :lol:...
Storage: i said to myself..pag binili ko ung 16 gig kulang sa apps ko pa lang pano pa ung 10k+++ songs sa PC ko?? Movies, Audiobooks, TV series, Sh*t sana naghintay na lang ako para maka bili ng 64gig..at that time pa-release na din ang Ipad2, i dont really need camera meron nman ako digicam saka Cellphone na may Cam..

That does seem weird. It's never happened on any of the iOS devices at home (iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch). I do buy lots of apps, but so far walang problem naman with syncing apps. If ever, the only problem I ran into was album art getting messed up sa songs that I bought in the iTunes store. Haven't resolved that one though.
If I understand you right, the problem is that your apps don't show up sa iPad after syncing? If so, have you tried getting them on the iPad directly? You can access your purchased apps sa App Store app on the latest iOS. You can download them directly on any iOS device provided that you're signed in with your Apple ID and you haven't reached the 8(?) device limit. They have a record naman of all the purchased apps eh (including the ones you got for free).
Agree with 3G on iPad, di sulit for me. I can always use the mobile Wifi or magtether nalang sa iPhone pag kailangan talaga.

Ano problems encountered?
When it comes to syncing, I've had the same (good) experience with both Macs and PCs. Pareho naman na nasa iTunes eh. If ever.. there are some Mac-only apps that integrate with iPads/iPhones pero that's not relevant to syncing naman.

guys, what cleaning agent can you recommend for the iPad 2 screen? i have a screen protector but i think i still need to wipe out the finger grease that accumulates. :lol:

i use it mostly sa pag browse internet... compared sa pc it just takes a few seconds, ready na kaagad gamitin ang ipad2. although alang flash, i can live that. if i need flash, i'll just go to my pc or my smartphone and use flash there.

the school that i am currently enrolled in uses iPad2 for learning. Meridian International :)
at first, matagal bago namin nakuha yung iPad units. nagkaroon daw nang worldwide shortage nang everything apple.(yeah right)
sobrang hirap talaga makahanap nang iPad2... plus meron nang news na meron na daw iPad3.
Same here in the school that I am working. The good news is teacher's and staff can avail of mac products via salary deductions for 10-12 mos. only. I got a macbook last summer, now come May, I'll get 2 iPads3(if it gets released by that time).
