Title: SE K850i... is it worth it?
Post by: calvs on October 24, 2007, 03:50:00 PM
Is this locally available already? How much are these here?
I was excited about this phone when I first heard about it, and I thought that I'd upgrade to this one (still using a K750i    )
But I've been looking around the net and they're bashing the phone left and right:

Dodgy buttons, NO WI-FI...  :-(

Sony really messes up when they release something the first time, huh.

Makes me think twice... should I just get an N95 instead?

i was actually leaning towards the N95 8GB phone, but now that you've brought up the N82, might as well put that into consideration as well  :-)

but on second thought, di naman ako makakabasa and makakatype ng japanese characters sa cel kahit ma-check ko ang email sa malls

hehe, bahala na  :-)

uy, di kasamaan yung price  :-)
but i have a sony dsc-t9 digicam and i'm actually not happy with the picture quality, i mean compared to a canon digicam, so medyo na-turn off na din ako sa sony digicams. But nasanay na din ako sa SE phones, and monoblock yung K850i, which us also something that i'm considering.

id still go for sony..  :-)

planning to get K810i this mid-december. the only thing is, it doesnt support album art, no megabass feature, not unlike K850i w/c feature both. oh, and the regular headset instead of the earplug.. seems that earplug headsets are only shipped with walkman phones..

my mom bought one of these yesterday. the keypad really sucks, nung una kong makita akala ko PDA kasi there's that touch button thingy malapit sa screen (i dunno what it's called) it's really hard to use lalo na pag nagtetext ka pero sulit na kasi ang ganda ng features. namangha ako nung makita ko na 5MP yung camera. 17k lang kuha nya.
