Title: Guitar Collecting
Post by: gunlak on February 13, 2011, 11:24:07 PM: i really am interested in collecting all sorts of guitars, but not the same on over and over again.
for example, i'd like to have a fender strat, a tele, a precision bass (51') a precision bass, a jazz and so forth.

kaya ngayong student palang ako, kinokolekta ko ay yung mga cheap alternatives,

habol ko lang naman yung bawat tone, feel, at itsura nung mga gitara.

ngayo'y marami nang gitara sa bahay, di parin matigil yung GAS kasi marami pa akong hindi nakukuha. medyo nawawalan na ako ng oras sa practice eh! pero damn GAS talaga!

Nuon, nabenta na yung StingRay copy, warak na yung Warlock copy at nabenta narin yung Fernando strat.

May mga dumaan na gitara saken para lang malaman ko kung ano feel at hinahanap kong tunog. Eto yung mga collection ko dati, pero ngayon isa nalang ang naiwan. Ang sarap kasi ng feeling na alam mo yung pagkakaiba ng bawat instrument na ginagamit mo, pati malalaman mo kung ano yung gusto mo.

ako madami na akong naging gitara , kaso karaniwan binebenta ko din yung iba saglit lang yung iba naiiwan din ng matagal, problem ko kasi:

maliit house namen

mahirap mag maintenance lalo kapag busy

and finally if ma gas sa ibang bagay need talaga ibenta hahaha

I felt bad coz guitars needed to be played so I decided to just keep those I actually use. It was nice while it lasted and collecting guitars is fun especially the hunt! But at the end of the day we should take a step back and become a bit more practical... well in my case at least hehe :-)

You really should wait til farseer posts hehe He bought one of my guitars before and I bought one of his. Great guy!

Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus
Washburn N1 (keeping this coz it's the first guitar I ever bought... and coz nuno B signed it hehe)

and what i am planing is to collect sunburst basses..

sa ngayon dalawa palang sila..
(planning to trade my Ibby to a Fender P or any lawsuit P kaso itago ko nalang daw kasi sobrang mismo din nya)

Seriously, magastos ang Guitar Collecting.. In a few years, pagkagraduate ko.. I would like to collect Basses from brands such as Sadowsky, FBass, Fodera, Lakland, Sandberg, Ritter and so on.. >:D

been making a list, with prices ready just in case I finally pull the trigger..

Im really opting for quality than quantity now..

1 high class, good item for everything lang..as much as possible...out with the old,in with the new nga..and its great to have some extra cash to save or invest from the proceeds..

Boss Gandy, I'm at this stage of my life now. May I know the ending of this experience of yours? San napunta? Ano na nangyari? How's the battle with sentimentality issues? Problema ko sa sarili ko yan eh.
