During Gigs....
Does anyone puts on a layer of baby powder to get that Joey Jordison look :lol: Heee he he! Joke lang...bka meron nga! :?

make up? serious? hmm...what i usually wear is my fave pair of levi's, cotton shirt saka my trusty airwalk sneakers...dati i use to wear nike golf gloves(left) to prevent blisters... :wink:

I normally wear a shirt, a baggy pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers during our gigs. At times, I wear a bandana or a bonnet, which is practical because it prevents sweat from dripping down my face, which can be distracting.
I can't really dress up like my other bandmates. It's us drummers who tend to sweat the most during gigs, kaya dapat practical and comfortable ang attire natin.

haha.. dati jeans at sneaks.. pero mas comfortable para sa akin yung cargo shorts at slippers.. at kahit anong shirt. haha. basta kung saan comfy.. di na ako ngppants kasi minsan sumasabit sa pedals.. haha.. :lol:

The great Joe Morello wears shades. It's because he has vision problems. And so are Stevie Wonder and Jim Keltner... There are vintage pics of Max Roach wearing shades during performance... Maybe because the stage lights were too bright?

I usually wear cargo shorts, black T-shirt and ever trusty new balance walking shoes... Most of the time, I wear a cap, la lang, mas feel ko pumalo pag may cap...

Ako naman depende sa mood ko. Pag medjo tinatamad ako, black t-shirt, cargo pants, tapos naka mejas lang dapat pag pumapalo na. Pero pag ganado naman ako, kahit nakapang bahay lang ang attire ko tapos kahit naka tsinelas lang din walang problem ganda pa din ng sound ko. :D
Sinubukan ko nga yung sinabi ni sir Anthony eh yung chocolates bago tumugtog para pampa hyper daw, kaso waepek ata sakin. :? :lol:

Well, that little ritual of mine works for me, especially when I'm feeling quite "moody". Anyway, mahilig talaga ako sa chocolate. :P
About doon sa pants na sumasabit sa bass drum beater... I always make sure that I don't wear pants na bitin. Yun kasi ang madalas na prone sa sabit sa beater. And I also tuck in my shoelaces before I play.

Hmm, ako naman nakayapak lang. Para walang weight sa paa, tapos any pdal pwede agad ako mag-adapt.
Sa attire naman, mas gusto ko naka-shorts kasi para presko sa baba. I wear shirts lang kasi sobra pawis ko dulot ng sobrang yosi. Hehe. It seems di ko mapigilan magyosi ng marami before a gig. Pampaalis nerbyos kumbaga. Pero I counter it naman with juices pagkatapos para hindi masyado magdetiriorate health ko.
I NEVER play drums na medyo tamado (I mean mga 5 bottles of beer na ang nainom ko). My foot gets a mind of its own na sa stage na yun. I've tried it once, and i did not like it. 1 or 2 bottles goes for me pag di talaga maiwasan like naghihintay ka ng turn mo tumugtog.

I did put paint on my face a few years ago at a halloween gig in Makati. forgot the bar, pero ala Coyote Ugly :shock: yun programa sa loob.
I sometime wear boots, kapag may sasakyan. It doesnt' bother my playing..as long as the music is blues/rock.

ako kadalasan nagsusuot ako ng wrist band.. kasi madali ako magpawis sa stage mas lalo sa ulo kaya pag tumulo at tumama sa mata napaka hapdi.. kaya napapapikit ako minsan. kaya nagsusuot ako ng wrist band para madali kong mapunasan ang pawis.

Seryoso, hindi lang brip ang suot ko onstage.
Ito ang mga suot ko:
- t-shirt
- pants na tama lang ang fit
- pair of socks na sobrang lambot at tight-fitting
- low-cut rubber sneakers/skateboard shoes
- panyo
- minsan bonnet (actually kailangan ko na lagi para hindi mahulog ang eyeglasses ko)
- earmuffs or tissue sa tenga
Tinatanggal ko mga dala kong gamit (necklace, bracelet, wallet, cellphone, ipod) para mas magaan ang pakiramdam.

I do wear sunglasses during gigs.Nakakasilaw kasi yung ilaw e.Saka malimit kasi akong nakapikit habang tumutugtog which I think looks uncool.
I wear headgear ie. bullcap,bonnet, or bandanna para ma absorb yung pawis at di tumulo sa mata ko...hmmm...para na din hindi mapansin na bukod sa pagiging drummer,....eh......BOKALS din ako bweheheeew! :lol:
Cotton shirt,loose pants, and a pair of skateboard sneakers (airwalk)
No bracelets and wristwatch. :wink:

yep pareho tayo... grabe kase ako magpawis pag gigs, na experience ko na yung nakapikit habang nasa stage kase mahapdi yung sweat pag pumapasok sa mata...
nagpapakita kase ako ng power pati ng energy pag nasa stage kaya grabe ako magpawis, part ng showmanship :lol:

I usually play drums with a shirt, jeans and skate shoes. nice padding for the pedals. comfortable... I usually bring a (gooey brown stuff)load of t shirts coz I sweat a lot

cotton p.e. shorts, slip-on shoes. shirt optional. thinking about wearing a headband so i won't have to wait for a break in the song just to wipe my eyes. kaso magmumukha akong post-hardcore jologs. wag na lang.

i play with chucks EVERYTIME! haha kaya ang dami ko chucks para pwede ibagay sa kahit anong suot :lol:
depende sa gigs kung ano isusuot ko, may mga gigs kasi na kelangan talaga nakaayos kami, yung isang bokalista kasi namin may pagka-fashionista kaya everytime na gig namin sinasabihan kami na mag-ayos haha. mejo hassle minsan pero nasasanay na din ako. :-D

I always wear polo shirts when playing since I play at church. Bawal shirts with no colar. Pero pag practice, any comfortable shirt will do. Sa paa, I use rubbershoes, that's it. I really mind wearing comfortable colthes, I really dislike fancy clothing as they often times get in the way of my playing.

t-shirt lang that doesnt limit my shoulders and arm movements tapos i dont wear maong jeans, basta comfortable mga legs ko sa pagmove pag nagpepedal ako..

sa gig dapat din may dala akong maraming extra shirt, kasi every set nag change ako. Sobrang init kasi ngayon! lalo na sa El Nino!
