the reason is i find them to add haze on the finish..thats what i noticed when i was using the dunlop on my maple top guitars, they have this blurry shine to the finish which i didnt like, so its cool there are products like NU-Finish scratch and haze dr which i use only once a used guitar or a guitar with hazy finish and then i use the meguiars quick wax(just a small amount on the finish) and then maintain with the detailing spray from meguiars, i love the finish on my guitars..they look like candy everyday

i've used pledge before on my guitars, but it was better only on the back of the neck..im not going to use it on the finish of a guitar

i also did think like that back then but wondered 'how' when there is a clear coat on the finish?

here's what i did back then..i was 13(im going 27 lol) how would i know right? i've been using pledge on the hardware on every part of the guitar(not the insides) but also the pickups(bad move)..

so i was looking around for a polish and saw the container with cool viking guy and it said polish, with a picture showing a cars dashboard so squeaky clean..

so i used it on my jackson dinky with a cool sleek black finish (fave guitar back then)..when i first used it..cool it made it all black but after a few weeks of using it i noticed the finish was getting more duller and rough on the guitar and will only look good every time i use armor all, then the haze started showing and alot of swirling on areas i use 'armor all' heavily..so when i complained about it to my dad i just got a slap on the back of my head..because it was his guitar that he liked that much..and i just destroyed the finish for him..

but my experience is different..so if you guys want to have a go at it..using armor all

i've got one guitar with no clear coat sir..pure wood..tinanggal ko po kasi yung paint..tas yun inaapply ko..pati din sa fretboard ko yun din nilalagay ko.. :-D
yup hindi ko sya masyadong gusto sa body kung may finish yung guitar..minsan kasi nagmamantsa sya kapag di mo napunasan agad.. :|
