no, its not just ZW's switch, matter of fact every Dunlop MXR switches. kaya mas maganda ang mga 1980's issue ng MXR (nang di pa sila nabibili ng JimDunlop) heavy duty ang switch. the only downside.

Hhee.. I feel so glad that I'm not the only one who's GASsing for these MXR cute lil pedals!! grrr... buy na this sweldo or just settle first with a chorus or a WAH... hmmm...

If you can have these cute lil pedals for 4.5K, I'd say go for it!! Next stop is also a highly recommended Digitech Bad Monkey which is priced at P3K ++ only!!! But of course, that will be a different thread already.

I saw these pedals in some of the guitar shops here in QC and it was tagged at P6,000++. I was like... wtf?!? Parang gusto kong sabihin sa salesman na $79 lang 'yan sa states! Grrr.. but, of course I'm here in Manila and we should also take into consideration of tax and all that but for 6K? Isn't it too much? I've been ''GAS-ing" with these cute little pedals for weeks now. I don't know if I'll be needing an extra Phaser & DIRT box in my rig.

What do you think guys?
wobbly tone!

San ba yang shop sa qc bossing? pwede bang malaman? para makabisita. thanks :D

sir ano feedback nyo sa DoubleShot? planning to get one pero hesitant ako baka waste of money lang.

the marshall crunch does it for me... and sadly, the double shot won't give me that kinda sound.

it's very open sounding though... but a bit too trebly for my taste... i tried to dial in the sound that i want for a while, but couldn't really get the sound that i wanted.

my jackhammer would kill the double shot (yeah, don't even ask about the shredmaster).

i had 3 mxr pedals, a vintage phase100, dynacomp re-issue and the ZWOD. Yung ZWod lang may diperensya sa footswitch. I presume most mxr pedals are reliable.

I was about to go commercial with this one. It's a clone of the MXR Distortion +. Was darned ready for it, had the PCB's and case design silkscreened. But when I was about to go semi-mass prod, the cases went out of stock. Oh well. Maybe on a better time.

This should retail for less than half what you get the MXR Distortion + for.

Sir BAMF,

Saan nakakakuha ng metal na pushbutton switch gaya ng nasa "distolpas" mo?

These days? Some still hold well, but otherwise there are a lot better options out there at better price points.
I'd rather be sharp than flat.

I've owned a few. I liked them all but ended up selling a few and kept the ones I like most.

MXR Phase 90 - the only Phaser sound I like. 1 knob that I don't bother changing the setting (between 10-11 o'clock)

MXR Il Torino Overdrive - I like the color, the sound and the EQ Tuning options.

MXR Super Badass Distortion - covers a wide gain range and offers good tuning options. It may sound too compressed (and tiring) after a while but always a pleasure using it again.

MXR Booster Mini - perfect solution for beefing up the thin sounding single coil strat bridge. Sounds HUGE.

MXR Phase 99 - Can do Phase 90 but smaller.

MXR Carbon Copy - Excellent in fattening your lead sound but a bit too dark for using it for u2 type rhythms.

mxr have some good products. some are also not so good. they are like boss. if they produce a good pedal, they are really good. i have two that i really like. the super badass distortion and custom badass od. now i am planning on the m300 reverb.

since I bought the Fullbore Metal, I steered clear of MXR products. I had very bad experienced with that pedal, masyadong compressed and uncontrollable gain, it was too much. Tho I want to try their 5150 and Super Badass Dist.

fullbore metal is the worst. Not an ounce of musicality. The 5150 and super badass are both nice. But super badass gets my vote
