Not available locally. About USD 1,500.00 each! It is no joke. Very expensive.

You're better off with steel fire doors/jambs and add layers of rockwool and acoustic foam.

Tama ang sabi ni skunkyfunk at ang price range quoted by Senor Mike. Just for the heck of it, check out the studio doors of Pink Noise studios along Roces Avenue.

Actually pwedeng ipagawa locally and you will spend a little less. Pero may ilang weakness ang locally made studio doors so I wouldn't recommend them.

God I remember having those doors shipped to Roces from Taiwan and having them set up. Nightmare City.

my god, pink noise has studio doors that are pretty close to those being used by bank vaults.

i guess the cost will have to depend on how much isolation you really need from those doors. i'm sure sir mikep can point you towards more cost effective solutions.

haha, strange when i saw the words studio doors the first thing that came into mind were those massive 2-foot-thick studio doors in the old pink noise studios. ok i exaggerate, maybe just a foot and a half?

somebody could shoot you with an uzi and u'd survive hiding behind those doors!

DIY would be the best way to go. if the cost is at 1500 USD, there will be huge additional costs for shipping and taxes too.

hahaha.. ganun pala yun.. yeah astig nga kung ang studio mo eh bank vault na may time delay! iwas nakaw narin. ahahhah..

seriously my idea of acoustic door.. mga 1.5 inches door na plywood na may palaman na fiberglass.. parang kasi may ngsabi dito noon.. kaya yun ang idea ko. di pala basta ganun yun.. nghahanap nga ako sa internet ng building construction pero wala..

mga sir na may mga studio, please share nyo panu ginawa nyo sa main door nyo para maging soundproof sya at acoustically treated..

sakin kasi ginawa ko, normal main door na nabibili.. nilagyan ko ng i think 1/8inch na rubber matting... though it help.. medyo humina yung lumalabas na sound sa studio, mabigat masyado yung rubber matting.. thats why lumundo na yung door kaya hindi na malock.. and ginawa ko. bumili ako ng rubber na nilagay sa side ng door to lessen leak.. yung rubber na yun almost inch thick.. yun yung nilalagay sa mga refrigirator vans...

idea naman panu nyo na treat sa inyo.. thanks..

sa akin, lahat na door sa studio dalawang 3/4 plywood pinagdikit ko, at 2x2 na frame paikot, so parang 1&1/2 kapal na plywood ung pinto, yon ang naisip ko na pinaka matipid.. medyo mabigat pero 4 na hinges di lumundo. ok naman to, pero sa studio ko mas malaking bagay ang sound lock, kung may space sa studio mo, pagawa ka ng sound lock, mababawasan ang leak.

mabuti na lang nasa bundok ako kaya hindi na kelangan ng acoustic door..

.. ok yung suggestion ni astrobog.. i was there in his studio and the noise leak was very minimal..

Yup! A sound lock is quite effective especially if the distance between doors is greater than 1 meter. Maganda sana if some of our 'masters' can post floor plans of successful existing designs.

peace to all!tama yan sirs para kaming mga nagsisimula pa po e magkaruong ng karagdagang kaalaman dito.yehey!

..hehehe...problema ko din po kasi tong soundproofing e...hehehe...pagmay dumaan lang na tricycle sa harap ng bahay namin..katakottakot na ingay na agad...e tahol pa ng mga aso..hehehe...
