The family and friends of Fabunan will hold a concert at the Rembrandt hotel this Friday, 13 September, in tribute to Maria Cafra bassist Jun Fabunan who died of heart attack june 12, 2002.
Powerjam will perform whose line-up includes Albert Hufano on bass, Lito Vasquez on guitars, Luz Medalla on keyboard, Mel Millete on drums, Lito Atienza on rhythm and Nante Reyes on vocals. Snaffu Rigor, an old friend of Jun, will also jam.
Rolly Averilla, original drummer of Maria Cafra will be joined onstage by Jun's son Dennis Glenn and his nephew Mark Decina to play signature songs of the band such as "estranghero", "kumusta mga kaibigan", and "exodus' among others.
Tickets ot the concert will be available at the gate or call yen Decena at 829-6045. The concert is presented in part by the Philippine Charity sweepstakes Office.
