Title: How do we get more people to sign up, rather than lurk?

Everytime I check, there are more "guests" than "users" logged in. It seems we get a lot of traffic from lurkers. How do we entice these people to sign up and actually become members? Suggestions are welcome!

dapat siguro naka private yung forums. yung ma view lang siya kapag registered user na. :)

limited lang yung pwedeng i-view ng guest...

tapos may message na "for more abouthis thread sign up.... bla bla bla...."

or pwede limited time lang sila  pwede mag-lurk base sa ISP nila.

bakit di na lang kasi mag-sign up? eh ansaya-saya dito, parang life.

may naka private forums na actually, yung AG forums. hahaha


may expiration date pa naman yung mga unused accounts di ba?

ahm siguro let's make them feel that everybody is welcome to join and this site is a healthy community of musicians that is willing to share what they know. bow  :wink:

MAke it so that they can't lurk. Only registered members can view posts and topics.

ano yung other site?  :?

mas marami palang lurkers. baka naman members din yung iba run tapos tinatamad lang mag-login. though probably they are a minority. minsan ako ganun e. lalo na kapag di secure yung lugar kung san ako nagne-net.

siguro limited nga lang yung threads/forums na pwedeng makita ng di naka-login. restricted muna yung iba lalo na yung classifieds.  :evil: yung tipong makikita nila yung binebenta pero di nila makikita yung details sa loob ng thread. hehe.

+1. Or, pwede i-access yung front page ng classifieds (so, kita yung mga thread titles), pero hindi pwede i-click yung individual threads. Para may teaser, hehehe.

ok din po kaya lang iba-iba ang pagka-interest ng isang tao,pag maganda mga na view nya(para sa kanya)saka lang magreregister,ung iba pagka di agad maka view(need pang magregister)nawawala ang interest nya.....go away na.

maganda nmn ang feedback ng philmusic....referral lang talaga sa kapwa musikero,96% for sure register agad un
