new Rivermaya album: anong masasabi nyo?

hey guys, released na ang new Rivermaya album. natripan nyo ba? ako trip na trip ko yung album, ang gaganda ng areglo nila sa mga old songs. ang pinakagusto ko sa lahat e yung areglo nila sa "Sumigaw, Umawit Ka" (originally performed by Identity Crisis). ang galing ng dynamics! the Joey Ayala songs were given justice as well

i love rivermaya... (except for the album when bamboo exited the band) (yung nag 3 piece nalang sila)

but when they got kakoi and mike! wow!!! galing! ayus talaga magsulat ng kanta si rico! idol!

one thing i love bout them albums are the drum sounds! ganda ng tunog! rinig lahat and especially the snare sound!

maybe they just paid tribute to pinoy bands that existed during the 80's.. chong si rico.. waver yan.. he's very good in writing songs and na develop na rin yung voice nya..

I agree. They paid tribute to those underground bands of the 80's. What's admirable is all these bands they chose to cover were all OPM bands. Rivermaya did justice to the songs naman. They did a pretty good job.

astig ang "Inosente Lang ang Nagtataka", pati Violent Playground and Ethnic Faces covers. New Wave OPM!

from what I know si angee rozul ang nagmi-mix ng albums nila eversince....from the 1st album hanggang sa "Tuloy ang Ligaya"......I'm not really sure kung sa'n sila nagrerecord and if mr. angee rozul still mixes their albums.

@sir jim ayson, this is one helluva work from rivermaya.. i've always wanted to play/cover some of dean's december and violent playground songs..

ok lang naman ung mga cinover ng rivermaya dito eh kasi hindi ito ung mga songs na gasgas eto ung talagang bihirang marinig natin...pero mas ok sana kung un Isang Ugat Isang Dugo puro originals pero galing din nila mag cover eh
