Do Ibanez Guitars have "Hiyaw"?

I don't have the exact definition of Hiyaw,

i currently own an RG1570 (bought if from Mr. Freak) with some modifications
(idk if it's necessary to get that hiyaw from electronics and "upgrades")

idk the exact technical details,
 my friend brought it to MicSis

but right now i'm starting to appreciate it's tone as if it resembles something i don't know,
but it feels good in most ways, Clean to Distorted,

so again im noob in technical details, pag pasensyahan nyo na 

usually when gigging i always use and Epiphone Les Paul, pero ngayon mas feel ko na ang RG1570..

About 98% of PRS guitars sound dead.  You need to find the 2% to determine that the balance 98% sound bad.

Ibanez is love for shredders, not "hiyaw" finders.

So far, I have not found an Ibanez guitar with hiyaw.  I have not given up ... but really there are better shredder guitars than Ibanez.  I suspect the culprit for Ibanez is the use of cheap woods or at least not up to par woods from guitars coming from the U.S.

was wondering it myself..i watched before a clinic of joe in anaheim gc. he played an off the shelf ibanez js2400. sounded really good through an off the shelf jvm410H and cab. likewise vai when i was in japan. used an off the shelf jem (the one with the stock sustainiac). played the song whispering a prayer thru an off the shelf legacy amp + head. note for note it sounded really gooood..

They don't need hiyaw coz they actually PLAY their guitars. They are not toy collectors like some of us here.

^makes sense. or they make their guitar sing. andy timmons comes into mind aswell. dude literally makes the guitar sing no matter what guitar he grabs. watched him aswell. borrowed a fan's gio and you know what happened next. he left the fan very inspired knowing that his gio can play notes really well provided that "tone is in the finger is applicable here"...

So bakit my EVO si Vai -- na up to now ay hindi ma-gaya ng Ibanez according to Steve Vai?  At bakit may Chrome Boy si Satch, na sabi ni Joe: "Chrome boy was my favorite guitar"?

But to be honest, that is more like a curse rather than a charm. But that's just me. I'll leave you to it.

Thats funny... Having the best sounding guitars is a curse?  If so, then the rest are DOOMED!

siguro mga high end japan models..our bands guitarist has those tree of life, j custom things..he swears by them..one is a sixer and a 7 string...but for the cheapo entry level stuff gio, probably similar with low end squiers

Leo  + No playing = Fender Guitars!

Its funny too.  Leo Fender does not know how to play guitar yet you are using, and a lot of us are playing Fender Guitars.  Ito pa ang masakit.  We live out the misconception  na Mas maganda pa ang Fender na Guitar kung ginawa sa panahon na nasa Fender pa si Leo.

Actually that assertion is a partial truth,  a great sounding guitar will still be a great sounding guitar in the hands of whoever plays it.  Conversely, A bad sounding guitar will not make a great player sound better than great.

I swear by those j.customs too! They play fking great! I miss mine though..
