Whats the advantage of steel as compared to wood? what is the ideal size to have those crunch, crackling snare sound 10,12,13 or 14? Thanks

korek sir! i have no idea sa price nung elite. pero for me, pag steel ay halos pareho lang lahat ng tunog, be it brass , copper etc. may gamit akong generic steel at satisfied ako sa sound basta maayos ang heads at tuning. pero shempre iba pa din pag branded ang gamit mo. mas masarap pumalo! :-D

baka sa settings nga lang yun, sabi nung iba yung belt driven daw yung ngbibigay ng parang floating effect so it's better for hem...

naiintindihan ko na yung floating effect na sinasabi nila... pero siguro masyado lang ako nasanay sa chain driven pedals, anyways, bigyan ko pa siya siguro ng a week or two bago ako mag decide kung mag stay pa ba ako sa belt drive  :-)

best to stick with the chain drive na lang talaga siguro kasi dun ka nasanay.. hehe! ako man nanibago from chain to belt dati pero give it some time pa din bro! anyways, may chain replacement part naman sa jb as daleee said if ever hindi ka talaga comfy sa belt drive..
