1. In music, sound alone matters not brand names.

2. In developing one's skill, your passion is more important than the instrument.

3. On becoming an artist, developing one's personal language is more important than copying other musician's technical skills.

4.  Fulfillment - Following God's purpose for the talent He has given you will give you the most profound happiness you can ever imagine.

5. It takes effort [not time] to discover things that will define us as a drummer, and a person.

To God be the Glory!  :-)

I couldn't agree more! So true.. Cheers brother!

i've discovered na, mas mganda pala ang result ng sound sa pagtono ng snare kung uunahin muna yung bounce/feel ng drumhead bago yung tunog nya, hehe. i dont know about you guys, but thats how i tune.haha

OO bro haha. Pati cymbals. Tapos cinompare ko sa itsura nya ngaun. Parang from "pulubi" to "mukhang mayaman pero wala namang pera". Hahaha!

Ayos tong thread na to ah!  :)

Whenever I play, I always feel the urge to adjust my throne left and right, or adjust its height, or adjust the height or angle of the snare drum. Sometimes, because I adjust my throne too far to the left, I find it hard to reach the bell of the ride, so I end up wishing I had longer sticks. So I buy longer sticks and end up crossing them more often or getting them caught on cymbals or hoops. Then I'll wish I had shorter sticks, and end up buying shorter sticks.

yes the adjustment options are endless, so, once you've established your preferred set up...the bad side of it is whenever you adjust or dismantle, it becomes very hard to re-assemble your kit exactly the way it was before it was dismantled. So, invest on memory locks, and use tapes or markers or whatever na pwedeng pang lagay ng tanda...even detailed pictures wil help...

It takes a little time too. :)

OT: Post mo naman bro yung full set-up mo... :-D

BTT: it doesnt matter kung anung top lines or models... kung minsan, lower lines/models sounds way better than the top ones... Example, K Custom Hybrid Trash Splash - di ko type talaga tunog neto... madamot sa projection at trash... on the other hand, stagg dh china splash 12"... panalong panalo... sarap...
