Can you tell me how to get there?

Sakay ka ng Sta. Ana Tulay na jeep from Taft Avenue corner Pedro Gil. Ana Church. Pagbaba mo dun, you can ride a tricycle or a pedicab then sabihin mo sa manong sa Nunez St, sa may tulay ka ibaba.

Here's the complete address:

2501 P. Nunez Street
Sta. Ana, Metro Manila 1009
Philippines

I had my jackson soloist set-up by Mang Jun. And he did a really great job, especially with the neck adjustment of the guitar-and it wasn't easy because it's neck through.

I think he does a really great job especially with string tension, intonation, string radius and others.

Hmm.. Im planning to have my guitar fix by sir jun eh.. I heard kasi from my cousin that he really does get the job done at ang cheap pa ng price!..

Had our church equipment done by Sir Arie of Guitar Hospital.. Nice din.. Quite expensive lang.

Would love to try Sir Jun and have our guitars fix by him.

Astig ka Sir. i saw you sa Bandila.

Astig ang mga luthier na pinoy!

Don't worry coz the deer wasn't killed. Based on the pic, it's a deer antler not a deer bone and BTW deers shed their antlers annually.  :-D

Mang Jun has a band (Tanglaw Sining) that plays ethnic music. Environmentalist yung dating ng lyrics nila.

Deers can definitely breathe a sigh of relief.  :-D

Mang Jun?

- The most honest local luthier
- The best in his craft
- Down to earth, straightforward but trustworthy
- Won't compare your guitar to what he has and will make you feel how inferior your guitar is  :-D he respects and loves every client's guitar and treats it as if it was his.
- Matagal daw gumawa (well guys, the wait is well worth it) and the guy after all does all the work mostly for consistency...
- Takes every pic of his clients with the finished guitar for his album (SIKAT KA MAN O HINDI)
- Alongside the latter entry, sikat ka man o hindi, you have to line up for your guitar to be attended to  :-D respect as is  :-D

 :-D :-D :-D
The Cranberrie's "dreams" is a rip off of Sampaguita's "Laguna".....

He will even point out the good things about your guitar and tell you how to improve it.

di sya yung tipong di nagsasabi na "sana ganto nalang binili mo" okaya "baket ganto tunog nito, di kagaya ng guitar ko oh?". Unlike some people

Yeah, i'm actually quite near to a couple of known luthiers but I always choose to bring my guitars to Mang Jun. I trust him with my babies. I think a lot of his clients can attest that his work is really top-notch. He even gives away some guitar parts that he owns to a client...free of charge. Now, that's customer service.  :-)

cheers.

I'm his friend, not a fan boy.

4. pag lumipas na ang panahon na yun, itanong kung bakit hindi pa tapos gawin - why do you think i call, i ask him about the weather, sheeesh...
5. pag nalaman na ang rason, linawin kung maaayos pa ba niya ang gitara mo - yes and every time there's always a reason
6. pag sinabing oo, itanong mo kung kailan magagawa. pag hindi ka kuntento sa sagot, bawiin ang gitara -  di ko maasikaso kse daming ginagawa i never said i didn't trust the guy...
7. pag sinabing hindi na magagawa, bawiin ang gitara, maghanap ng ibang maggagawa - that's my plan but again, don't have the time...

Please don't lecture me as if i don't know what I'm doing, I'm just statin what's happening.  Now since wala rin ako time talaga pumunta I'll leave it be, kpag may time nko then ppuntahan ko, again I trust the guy, all of my guitars went through him.  I haven't called him this month so maybe i will, dunno what the excuse will be this time... Tag-ulan, maybe... :-D

kung baga nobodys perfect.. hindi lahat ng magaling ay laging wagi.. in some way, may pagkukulang pa rin... and we cant please everybody... lahat may failure sa buhay..

anyway, lots of improvement after jun castro fixed my guitar.. sa intonation and sa brightness pa lang wagi... unang kita pa lang nya sa guitar, he was impressed of the design.. but when he started looking on the technical.. ayun na... alam na nya agad ang problema ng guitar ko.. lalo na ng nilabas na nya ang kanyang "magic ruler" at nagsukat sukat na.. galing.. naayos nga ng kinuha ko na.. ayos..

how to get there?... kung commute from PEDRO GIL LRT STATION may sakayan ng jeep via STA ANA TULAY.. sabihin mo lang sa driver pakibaba sa kanto ng STA ANA CHURCH, sa kanto pasukin mo lang ang daan til you reached yung basketball court sa likod ng church... may pedicab don, sabihin mo lang sa pedicab driver.. kay jun castro... ihahatid ka na nila sa bahay nya.. though pedeng lakarin kung alam mo na ang place nya... actually, makita ka lang ng mga pedicab driver na may dala kang gitara.. alam na agad nila na si jun castro ang pakay mo... kilala sya sa STA ANA CHURCH area...

my Fernando Unique Series Are042 after the set up...

For a minute there, I thought you were describing how to deal with a corrupt Filipino congressman.  But seriously, there are local luthiers with a better system of customer management.
