I recently started to use my mobile phone as a broadband modem. I have a Nokia 6120 and i connect it though USB. Through globe I get a 450 kbps connection and its quite fast, feels more than 450kbps. I can ;torrent while video straming.

i agree, kakarestore lang ng internet ko sa bahay after being down for 1 whole month.

i also work in the call center industry and i know the how to's of getting a good customer service and being polite to the technicians, but this one pushed me to the edge. di ko na napigilan sarili ko twing tatawag ako sa kanila at same script at reason ang sasabihin sakin. may pupuntang technician, tititigan ang modem na parang first time lang sila nakakita nun..then leaves without a word. Twice nangyari yung di man lang sila nagpapaalam na aalis na pala when all you thought is may ginagawa sila sa poste or something outside your house..

tinatapos ko nalang contract ko then i'll be switching to another one. it affects my work so much..sobrang nasstress ako nung time na everyday ako tumatawag para lang magalit.

Feedback naman jan regarding ISPs in Pampanga. I'm choosing between Globe Broadband and PLDTmyDSL. Mas mura yung Globe, you get an extra 1Mbps for the same price. So kung package ang titingnan, mas panalo Globe. But regarding reliability and technical support, alin ba mas OK?

i am now on PLDT's MYDSL plan 990. way much better than smart Bro-ken. may free landline pa for the same price. napakadali pa i-configure sa router, unlike smart bro's na and daming registration.

Bayantel sa min. 786 kbps 3 computer ang gumagana lahat nag dodownload pa. di siya bumabagal may period pa from 12 to 10 am na 1200 kbps

WTF??? Ondoy was actually the last straw. It also doesn't help that we see all this promotion and hype they're building around the new Globe Tattoo service.

Buti si michiko tinapos yung contract. We told them to shove it. The guys at Sky Broadband are more professional. Another wait and see, but so far so good.

^ang alam ko bundled na yung DSL+Landline na 999 nila eh..yun nga lang, mababa bandwidth..512kbps downstream yata..pero kung di ka naman heavy sa downloads, pede na yan..

hi po. cable internet is still the best dito sa 'pinas. konti pa lang ang internet users dito so alaws pa masyado congestion. pag DSL usually ang maganda mabilis ikabit, pero luma na yung mga phone cables/physical connections kaya nagkakaron ng latency hence the intermittent connection issues. Wifi is good if your always on the go, pero i dont recommend it kasi hindi guaranteed ang connection nun first and foremost dahil ang gamit nya eh cellphone signals to transmit the internet signal, so gudlak na lang pag nag down yung celsite na malapit sa wifi user. and regarding the speed and reliability ng wifi,depende talaga kung maganda reception ng celphone signal sa place mo.

PLDT DSL maganda. ive tried yung globe at smart e. pero yung plan 999 lng. pinakamabilis padn sakin yung DSL. pero i think you should also consider your location e.

pag lumampas ka sa 6gig na limit babagal ang connection mo hanggang sa magging parang isp

so lets say jan1 nag download ka ng worth 6gig na music, movies, streaming games, and naubos mo yung 6gig by jan 3,, so maghihntay ka at magttyaga ng 29 days bago ma refresh yung 6 gig mo GODD#@$ diba

998 per month pa sya

yes indeed napaka stable nya sa 1mbps pero panu pag naubos mo yung 6g???

may upgrade plan pa sila na 12g per month = 2000php huwat!!!

ang masasabi ko lang kung tamang fb, youtube, chat, email, pwede na sya
kung download junkie ka kawawa ka sa witribe
