Salamat, Shineshine!
Korn live in Tokyo
Me and Gracinha went to go see Korn. We weren't sure if you can bring a camera in the venue (Zepp Odaiba Tokyo) or not, so, we brought disposables. Thanks to the makers of Photoshop, the crappy pictures from the disposables came out relatively good.
For two simple Filipinos who went to college in Manila listening to Korn on NU107, this was a very awesome experience.
Japanese rock concert audiences are pretty disciplined (Japanese are disciplined in everything. That's why they're so good at everything).
Though not visible on the picture, Korn had a back-up "band" with them wearing suits and animal masks. The back-up was a percussion section, dj, extra vocals and an extra guitar player (to pick up where Head left off, we guess). We couldn't help think that the back-up band was an attempt to cash-in on the Slipknot/Mushroomhead/Mudvayne type crowd.
Above all, watching Korn live was a very memorable experience.
