Ze bf and I are starting this new hobby. He went to Mt. Maculot last week (he joined a group tour) and on the 19th we are going to Mt. Romelo. This will be my first official climb since a clean-up drive in Mt. Arayat is not counted I think hehe!

Will definitely post pictures!

Sali ako if pwede although beginner lang ako.. Bili lang ako ng BGAN pag may budget na ^_^

Ganda nga ^_^ gusto ko nga bumalik kasi natakot ako nung una mag dala ng SLR baka mabasa or kung ano man mangyari..

Next time dalhin ko na kaya gusto ko sana sumama sa mga grupo..

nakarating na ko sa mt. manabu, batulao saka recently sa maculot haha.

naalala ko nung first time kong umakyat nag sisisi ako bakit pa kasi ako sumama

tapos nung ma experience ko nang nasa summit may kakaibang feeling na hindi malaman

kaya ako naadik sa pag ha-hike.. hahaha.

yes,its a very beautiful mountain indeed..steep yet very challenging..plus very accesible..

but,theirs a big problem..garbages...!grr. ang dami.of all the mountain ive climb,mt.maculot is the dirties.i hope some mountaineering group will propose a clean up drive as soon as possible.

a very sad news sa mountaineering society dito satin.a young female slip and falls 250ft on a rocky steep portion of mt.batulao on Feb 29,2012 around 11am while picture taking and lost balance,dead on the spot.

yup, so sad nga yan at sa pagkakatanda ko, ayon sa news yata tumakas lang siya sa parents niya and wala silang guide ganun.

You need to ride a bus to Quezon, then another bus to the pier then a boat to the island. Never coming back. Nothing special about Cagbalete. IMHO.

Also, the Pensacola management needs to brush up their customer service.

RIP for her, sa new trail sya nahulog., nalala ko lang nung 1st climb ko dito 2006 sa old trail kame may kahirapan din kasi loose mga bato, mas established ang new trail ngaun kaya lang na out balance sya.

when my 9 year old son learned about the news,he was shocked..kasi kasama ko siya diyan sa batulao climb.and that pic is a shot from my friend from the summit..

..so far naakyat ko palang ay mt daguldul, pulag at malasimbo..
