I notice the himulmol comes out faster with other picks. The new jazz III's no himulmul, used other picks, i noticed the go faster.

I'm using EJ Jazz III picks. O baka talaga sobrang bigat lang ng kamay ko pag nasa live na.  Pero hindi ganito kabilis naghimulmol yun last set ko ng elixir, w/c lasted a year bago ko pinalitan.

Kung tight budget ka bro, sakto talaga Elixir for you!!! Una nagtatagal siya ng 3-5x longer in terms of tone and feel compared sa normal strings. Yung sa akin 5months na mukhang bago and feel bago pa rin. Tapos ang maganda dahil coated siya parang laging nakapahid ng fastfret yung strings. Kaya masmasarap yung feel at the same time, naiingatan pa yung fretwires mo.

kaya lang IM TOO EXCITED. it took me 1 cwek to decide on what to buy....

d'addario ni rerecommend ng nakakarami.i opted for EB.next time tlaga ill go ELIXIRs

Punas lang pagkatapos ok na, para sure 

Alangan din ako sa hype dati na dulot ng Elxirs pero the quality lives up to the hype. Tried, tested and now I'm a believer!

As with most strings, mas tatagal ang buhay pag may maintenance (pinupunasan, etc). With that said, mas tatagal ang buhay ng Elixir for sure..

Pero tinry ko bro na walang maintenance.. nung summer (May 2012), nirestring ko yung LP ko tapos lagi ko ginagamit with no maintenance.. pagkagamit, iwan na yung gitara.. bahala na kung may pawis or what.. tumagal siya hanggang ngayong october.. maayos pa.

Naputulan lang ako ng isang strings kaya pinalitan ko nalang din lahat.. pero kung hindi ako naputulan, tuloy lang..

Yung PRS ko naman, nung March (2012) ko nilagyan ng strings.. pero medyo natengga siya ng mga 2 months nitong August-September.. Ngayon ko nalang ulit nagagamit ng mabuti, less maintenance pa rin.. Ayos pa strings niya. hehe.

To compare, and D'Addario sa akin na may maintenance ay nasa 1 month - 1 1/2 months lang.. kalawang na siya pag ganyan katagal, sablay na rin intonation..

Ang pinaka setback lang sakin nitong Elixir, mas gusto ko pa rin ang sound at feel ng D'Addario.. Haha.. Mas buhay lang siya pag bago saka nagsusustain at maganda midrange niya.. not to mention, mas malambot pa rin siya kahit same gauge..

Mas pinipili ko lang ngayon itong Elixir kasi less maintenance saka nakukuha ng relatively mura.. pati yung araw-araw na feeling bago..

I had this experiment yesterday. We had this seminar sa church and I was tasked with the intro to electric guitars and effects. Usually after ng Praise and Worship ginagamitan ko yung strings ko ng Fast Fret to remove yung pawis and dirt before ko sya i-store. What I did with the Elixir, di ko nilinis and to think na Praise and Worship then yung seminar and dun sa seminar all sizes ang shapes yung nag sample sa guitar so you can imagine yung powder and lotion sa strings 

Then yun na nga di ko nilinis until now. Nung unang wipe ko ng Fast fret grabe yung naalis na dirt and foreign materials. Then isa pang wipe and ayun wala na, good as new! Pag sa previous strings ko 3rd wipe na pero me rust pa din. Happy

Please bring in Nanoweb singles (11s).  I had the misfortune of breaking one from a new pack during a restring.  Went to Park Sq. and Market Market to find them but apparently they only carry 11s in Polyweb.

What are you looking for??? Just a single .011 string??? It is available. The Nanoweb or Polywebs are for the wound strings. The single strings from 9 to 17 example are the anti-rust.

Due to my experience, I was hoping to buy a couple per gauge just in case some of the strings get cut during the month.  I know that I might have just suffered from an unusual/uncommon bad set or string.  I know it happens regardless of brand but it would turn out to be impractical to change the entire set once again within the month.  Also, I would like to point out that the pack used belong to a stash I bought more than 2 years ago and just maybe the age made the string brittle.

Re: Polyweb and Nanoweb - The white box the individual strings were taken from had Nanoweb and Polyweb markings and gauges on them.  I asked the salesperson why it was so and they said that was how they came in.  I specifically asked for Nanowebs and they said that the ones they have are the only ones carried.  While the string's white envelope does say anti-rust only, I wanted to play safe and get something that was marked Nanoweb.  Because of the confusion and uncertainty, I just got 2 each of 11s to 28s.

The 11's no problem for they are anti-rust, nano or poly they are fine. for the gauge with wound strings, you choose nano and poly. you're fine. I apologize for the confusion and uncertainty.

Mine too got strung broke on my 11's. I just loosen the string then it broke. I don't know why? Meron din kaya dito Lyric sa festival mall yun single string 11's for acoustic, na phosphur bronze series? thanks

All Elixir strings from the first to the 3rd strings are all the same which are anti rust, whether they be phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze or electric, nanoweb or polyweb uses are the same. They only differ on the bass strings i.e (4,5,6,7)
