drummer wannabe
« on: December 28, 2006, 01:08:55 PM »
Happy new year! Hope all is doing well.

I'm a newbie with a firm belief that practice is an alternative to talent  :-D

I'm into I.T. as well, Oracle developer to be exact.

Cheers!

Dude, in everything that we do, practice makes perfect. However, keep in mind that there will always be more talented people than us.

Where do you work? I'm also into I.T.  :-D

oo naman, there's always someone who's better, di lang sa drums kungdi sa lahat ng aspeto ng buhay. i'm just referring to practice being a substitute for talent, so if someone doesn't have it, i would advise them not to despair, but to practice and keep on practicing. I've seen people succeed without an ounce of talent but with tons of persistence.

sa makati ako work bro, insurance. ikaw? oracle din gamit mo?

I also work in Makati. We operate a data center in Pasig and we also do systems integration. Yup, Oracle din gamit namin in various projects.

Anyway, practice lang talaga ang key to all things in life. Designed tayo to learn different skills. With the right attitude, we can do it!  :-D
