ser, kung hindi ako nagkakamali, nakasulat po iyon sa "specifications" on the individual page for the guitars, sa site nila mismo. and to be more precise

bullets and affinities = single-coils lang ang nakasulat

standards = alnicos

vintage modified = duncan designed

classic vibe = alnico 3's

the rest...kayo nagmaghanap.

kung wala man akong magustuhan dito, i'd go for a classic vibe 60's, meron kaya locally available? mukhang out-of-stock sa yupangco..

unfortunately hindi yata familiar ang yupangco with the CV (classic vibe) series. ang tagal ko nang kinukulit yung mga sales clerks dun para i-suggest na mag-stock sila.

i'm seriously GAS-ing for a 50's Classic Vibe Tele. Dami ko nang nakikitang magandang reviews about it. i'm sure pati yung CV strats maganda rin.

pero minsan di accurate ang website. general overview lang ang nilalagay nila. just for example, di nakalagay sa website nila yung agathis/ alder combination ng body. di rin nila sinasabi don na iba iba pa rin ang  indonesia, china at india made guitars nila. siguro the best way is to ask the sale rep sa yupangco o tignan ang manual/ sticker/ spec sa store mismo.

Yep sa Pitch. Vintage white ang color (cream-ish). Ok sana kung black pickguard tas maple neck... hehehe

haha, correct. actually kahet sales rep nila minsan di ren kabisado items nila eh, best way to get to know these guitars talaga is to try them first hand and read the label/sticker on them, at FYI ulet.hehe walang sticker/label ng specifications ang mga Vintage Modified ( INDIAN )na naka stock sa yupangco-galleria branch...kaya frustrated ako nung itinry ko ung Vi. modified na strat sa kanila eh, kase nung nagtanong ako doon kung ano specs di ren nila masagot dahel wala ngang label or baka tinamad lang tumingin sa record.hehe. di lang ako sure kung sa kanila lang yung mga ganun, check nyo ren sa main or other branches, sana merong mga labels ung mga nandun, kung wala baka ito talaga ang case with Indian made squiers unlike the indonesian ones i saw months ago (around june to august lahat may label). oo tama naalala ko nga... dun sa sticker ng standard tele ko nakalagay alder/agathis combination pero sa site nila agathis lang. mas mahirap yun sa case ng mga INDIAN kase mag babase ka lang ng specs sa website at hindi 100% sure un. pero who knows...kase i've seen reviews ng mga ibang tao sa net saying that ok ang customer support ng squier-gutiars, one e-mail away lang naman sila for inquiries about their products. sana nakatulong.

hmmm... sir are you willing to trade your white pickguard with a black one?? kase i have a friend that has a black one and he's looking for a white pickguard. btw his guitar is 1991 Fender US Tele just so you know that you're not getting a rip-off. pics naman sir! para kita namen yung actual kulay, vintage white diba?

1984 Squier E series MIJ olympic white turned vintage white.....at yung kuya nya 1983 Squier JV strat MIJ sunburst(kuya lens)

hello fellow squire users...
What can you say about agathis bodied guitars? I have a strat with agathis body. I'm satisfied with the tone. In fact I find it comparable to MIM Fender strat with alder body that I tried at perfect pitch. However, it dents easily. Any similar experience or am I just not too careful with my guitar?

yung sa akin kase, hindi naman nalalaglag or nababangga. napapansin ko lang nagkakaroon sya ng parang "lubak" pero di naman tanggal or sira talaga yung pintura, para lang syang may "lubak" kaya tuloy di pantay ang finish. yung "lubak" parang iisipin mo na nabangga or something. mukhang malabo yata ako. ahehehe.

oo tama! hehe. same price ren saken. ayos yun, 1k+ lang bayad mo every month for a year. and i have to say ganda talaga ng craftsmanship at tone ng standard series. pero there's this one thing lang na naasar ako, a few months ago i tried to remove the stock strap pins when a friend gave me strap locks para i won't have to worry about my guitar's strap pins accidentaly slipping out of the strap at malaglag ang tele ko..so there i was unscrewing the stock pins and then screwing in the new pair of dunlop strap lock pins. then i realized that those screws don't fit in snuggly into the pin screw treads of the body, they would "screw in" but if you try pulling them out with just a small amount of force they would slip out--i got pissed so i went to a lutheir and had them fixed...then "TADA!!" ok na siya! just a word of precaution to my fellow squier or more specifically standard users (this may not be the case for everyone..i hope not). this may be or may not be a common thing pero still just to be sure, share ko na lang para dun sa mga balak mag strap locks or should i say "STRAP LOKS" for dunlop users..hehe.

yung standard na strat heheh... kaso anu ba ang mas tingin nyo dapat kong bilhin strat or tele? drummer po talaga kasi ako then gusto ko lang matutong mag gitara
