hopefully cheaper. pero yung mga pre-order sa mga US retailers nasa 1.5k pa rin.

I think the Firehawk more like the successor of the pod rather than the Helix.

Hindi ko alam ang play ng line 6 kung bakit kinakalaban narin niya ang axe fx at kemper

I think Line 6 would like to take a chunk of Axe FX's and Kemper's market - one long-term strategy na rin siguro after they were acquired by Yamaha who may want to compete with other giants in the Modeling and FX industry.

The winners are of course us as buyers, kasi mas marami na tayong choices - mga choices na based on our need, preference at financial situation.

Having a HD500x, the Helix, for me, is overkill. Di ko pa nga masulit na magamit ung full amp models at fx ng HD500x. I'll give it a year which is plenty of time for reviews, videos, discoveries of bugs and bug fixes, and the like.

P.S. Mas gusto ko talaga ung GUI ng Helix kaysa HD500x, lalo na ung LED-based footswitch labels. Di ko na kailangang gumagmit ng magnetic strips para mabago ung mga labels ng footswitches per preset.

yung firehawk at amplifi di naman talaga successor ng pod hd since x3 amp models gamit nun. parang experiment lang ng line6 yun sa wireless at app based controllers.

They probably don't want their products to be regarded as second class under the likes of AxeFX and Kemper forever.

Guys.... meron na ba nakapagtry gumamit ng Line 6 unit nila with a KRK Rokit 5? First time ko nasubukan kahapon .... ok din sya. I thought it wasnt going to be loud enough pero nasa half pa lang ako.... litaw na sya.

Nothing's popping out here in PhilMusic, at the moment. But I don't mind buying something new. Malamang nga Xenyx or yung Peavey PV6/8.

Still, I can't justify the prices of these amp modelers (Line 6, Axe FX, Kemper) lalo na ngayon na dirt cheap nalang mga RISC processors.

I remember when the Eventide Harmonizer was the best fx available. Ngayon halos wala ka na makitang gumagamit nito.
