panu ba mag calibrate ng sound system?
my lapel kc ako sa chrch...hndi ko magamit kc lakas ng feed back, sennheiser pa nmn un, 30k ang bili, kelnagan dw ng 31 band eq...
eh d ko nmn alam ung tamang settings..

bro. post mo dito yung model ng lapel mo. and yung existing na gamit mo dyan sa church, like mixer, eq, limiters etc. para madaling malaman solution sa problem mo..


actually guys, friend ko to.. and yes napakalakas ng feedback ng lapel.. sayang nga lang di nagagamit.. we used my eq, dbx 231.. and medyo may improvement.. anu tingin nyo guys..?

ung set up ko sa church, bale...

lx7 na 16 ch

isang pair yamaha ng s115v driven by low powered amps..
tska 15 band eq..
and ung compresor limiter ng samson...

meron din akong auxilliary speakers
isang pair ng sound tech

mejo panget nga pala ung room acoustics ng church namin, pahaba, tapos lahat cemento, floor, ceiling, tska pader..

Feedback is caused by speaker placement.  Lapels are more prone to feedback since most (not all) of them are omni directional.

Move the lapel closer to the person's mouth so you can lower gain/trim on the mixer... but boost channel volume.  This may help.

Multi-band EQ can help, as can a feedback destroyer.  Behringer has some affordable solutions for both.  No need to go over board on the equipment.

The main problem in houses of worship is that most of them have very high echo properties... this does not work well with traditional point-source speaker systems.

Bro pano placement ng speakers mo? baka nagkaroon ng light-of-sight between the mic and the speakers. or walang EQ ang monitor speaker mo or kung mero man, baka masyado naka boost ang mga possible feedback frequencies. Malaking factor nga din ang room acoustics, yung highly reverberant na room ay prone nga sa feedback, I suggest maglagay ka ng designer draperies (makapal na kurtina will do) gaya ng ginawa ko sa church namin. May gamit akong Audio Technica Headworn mic, hindi naman nagfeedback.. Hope this helps.

tapos ung monitors nmn, kahit patayin ko, nagfifeedback parin...
ano sa tingin nyo gagawin ko sa lapel ko?

wala kang dapat gawin sa lapel mo, kung hindi mo naman gagamitin sayang, saka hindi naman yan ang cause ng feedback, gaya ng sabi mo my line of sight bet. mic and the speakers, ang pinakamaganda mo gawin ay panu maiiwasan un.. kung meron ka namang house EQ, try mo dun i-tune. ano ba yung feedback frequency, HI, MID or LOW? try to cut those feedback frequencies but not to the point na ma-sacrifice ang sound quality.. san location mo bro? puntahan ko pag malapit sa QC or bulacan.. eto ang gusto gawin.. libre lang.. hehe

dude... taga cavite kami ni zound_tech.. yung nga. we tried it even sa likod ng P.A. speakers. off ang monitor, lakas parin ng feedback.. nabasan nga lang nung ginamit namin yung eq ko na dbx 231.. and sabi ko nga rin kay zound_tech na problem nya is yung pag acoustic ng church.. as in bare concrete walls talaga yung place.. kaya malakas mag feedback. isa pang pinagaaralan namin yang pagcalibrate ng eq.. kasi diba nakukuha patayin ang feedback sa eq.. we tried to do some experiments. pero little effect lang.. sana may makapagturo samin. hehehe

Try adjusting the Lapel itself tapos habulin nyo na lang sa mixer.. San sa Cavite bro?Anung Church? Pag malapit pede ko sadyain, contact nyo lang ako dito: 0917-882-6602. or itext nyo landline nyo, tawagan ko kayo..

bro malapit lang kami ni zoundtech.. pero siya imus ako bacoor.. actually yung studio bare palang bro.. kagagawa lagn kasi.. and this week hopefully ma acoustic ko na.. may mga konting instrumento palang.. pero visit ka rin baka may ma suggest ka.. hehehe..
