A kit lens will do just fine.
A tripod is a must and you have to be there on location beforehand to manipulate the light to your advantage.
Have fun.

hindi siya misyadong wide lalo na sa crop body. lalabas na 80mm which is so far sa mabibigay ng 10-22 (16-35)

canon 10-22mm for cropped bodies and 17-40 for full frame. a good tripod like benro a500ex+BH1 (just like mine) sturdy, lightweight and a bit cheap. nasa 4k lang sya. and invest a lot on Filters. its a must have especially for landscape. GND,CPL and ND8 would work just fine, try HOYA for superb quality

Full Frame - yung sensor niya kasing laki ng isang frame ng 35mm na camera (36 × 24 mm) eto yung canon 5d mark 2, EOS-1Ds Mark III, d700. wala siyang crop factor so ang 18-55mm lens mo will still be 18-55mm
Crop Sensor mas maliit yung size nung sensor niya (22.2 mm × 14.8 mm) eto yung mga canon xxxD, xxD, 7D so bale ang 18-55mm na lens mo is 28.8-88mm

nasa sayo yun eh kung ano gusto mo.
kunwari ang isang picture parang steak.
pagpumunta ka sa restaurant at bumili ka ng steak luto na siya salt, pepper, at sauce nalang ang pwede mong ilagay (tweeks on photoshop) konti lang ang pwede mong ibahin pero yung over all taste nandun na talaga yan ang jpeg.
pag pumunta ka sa supermarket bimili ka ng hilaw na piece of meat, at ikaw yung magluluto ikaw mag lalagay ng pang palasa. you have the total control of the image. yan yung RAW

@never

mas maganda lang ang resolution ng RAW. pero for me JPEG is also OK.
pero kung professional ka talaga eh RAW kana. :-)

pag naka jpeg kase tapos ipnalitan mo yung mga stuffs na sinabi mo nadadamage yung picture. sa dami ng pinapalitan mo mas bumababa yung image quality

hi guys. sorry for the late reply. madalas kase down ang philmusic sa pc ko.
right now im using canon eos x4 and 10-22mm lens and few filters (GND, nd8, CPL and IR).

hi! if you are using a canon dslr with apsc sensor like 600D and below or 60D and below or 7D, it is advisable that you use canon efs 10-22mm lens. it is very good in landscape. but if your budget is tight better use third party lenses of sigma or tamron. filters are also essential in landscape photography. read something about filters (graduated neutral density, neutral density, circular polarizer, and infrared)
tripod is essential and a must. giottos or benro brands. your tripod must be sturdy enough to hold the weight of your camera and lens. good luck and cheers
