I think their music is something that people will listen to as listeners grow older.
I totally agree. Back in college I hardly ever appreciated their music and like the rest of the people in this thread, I found them quite boring. Maybe it was my exuberant nature when I was still a student that made me think this way. Gusto ko yung music na mapapatalon at mapapaindak ako. But I guess musical maturity came with age and eventually I was able to appreciate their songs, and finally love them. Their music is simple, stripped down, melodic and very honest, and no, I don't even find Chris Martin hot.
I love how they are able to express this sentimental side of human nature despite the "gay" comments of other people. Just because they play sensitive music doesn't mean they're gay.
And if they are, so what?
Only real men are able to express what they really feel. Yung mga masyadong pa-macho, sila yung insecure.
