Sorry bro, "we do not ship overseas" daw sila. Pero just to give you an idea of how you buy stuff from ebay. For example yung tinitingnan mong auction, kailangan na mag lagay ka nang bid, place as much as you are willing to pay. Ta's yung iba mag-bi-bid den, pa-taasan kayo. Pagkatapos nang auction, yung pinaka mataas na bid, yun ang panalo. Ta's bayaran na. Basahin mo yung terms nang seller.

Ingat-ingat lang ang pagbili sa ebay. Tingnan mo yung rating nung seller. Kung walang feedback or kung maraming negative, tingin ka na lang sa iba. Pag may kumontack sa na gusto kang bentahan outside of ebay, ingat din, baka ma-dale ang pera mo.

3. He replied, said they don't ship here (Pinas)
4. I went to Manila Forwarders and told them about the guitar drop off
5. I bid and won the guitar, gave the MF address and the seller shipped it to them
6. They shipped it to my doorstep
7. I'm happy

its so easy when im in the states. but here's what I did when i won a sampler in ebay just a month ago.

the obvious:
sign up for ebay
sign up for paypal
do a search
look at the seller stats/feedback go for 97 % -100% feedback, go for powersellers, and sellers that dont have negative feedback in the past 6 months.

my order:
-watched the item and set my alarm the last -minute before the bid close
-bid cheaply.. i won it half the price theyre selling it in stores.
-have it shipped to my US address.
-relative brought it here.
-got it good as new. no manual though.
-left a feedback on the seller, great ebayer blah and blah.
-leaves me feedback , fast payment blah.

i always find some balikbayan who's going home in a month or two. i never ship items from the states directly to the Philippines. it defeats the point of buying em "cheap" if you have to pay crazy shipping fees and tax fee. now when im in the states or in canada, thats a different story, i buy like crazy.

oh yeah.. i forgot to add the nightmares too. double billing. late shipment. lost shipment. item breaks in transit. so far i got double billing and late shipment. international phone bills too, because if you need to straighten out something, you dont wait for email. and most of them really dont care about emailing keyboard warriors.

same procedure with online site purchases. contact merchant and ask about shipping options. if you want to bypass customs, either get a least price items  (used to be 5k, now 2k), OR offer them to have the item shipped door to door thru FedEx or DHL. prepare to shell out more for door to door service. if you look at it, it's almost same with paying the customs taxes versus high door to door shipping fee. I ordered pickups from Nelson Piano Co. in HongKong and they shipped the item immediately thru EMS. Im not really sure with the whole process of expedited shipping, but apparently my stuff got here in less than a week, but i got a post office notification after 3 weeks. picked up the item in post office, paid the usual tax. youd hear the usual jacked up computation from a scum behind the counter, its a hint for you to bribe. i just paid the whatever's in the computation, because when i compared it to yupangcs price, i still got a good deal.

worth watching ang topic na toh, ako im planning to buy a stuff in musiciansfriend.com bu sadly they dont ship here so im planning to contact my friend in the US para sa house na nya delivery ng item, then pa fedex or ups or kung anu ung mas mura (wala akong tiwala sa PhilPost ung pinadala kasi na cd's hindi umabot sa akin grrrr....)

FORGET ABOUT IT!!
for the sole reason of how "inutile" the Philippine Custom is.  Grabe sila maningil ng tax ngayon!!! Grrr !!!
last shipment ko declared value is $90 tapos siningil ako Php1,900 pesos!!!  Ok lang sana kung may sinusundan silang standard, eh ang problema eh parang moro moro lang ginagawa nila kung magkano ita-tax items mo.

 so far i only ordered non musical items like camera filter and a theremin kit. they send via UPS. bast kasya sa envelope nila,straight na isend ng post office sa house niyo. kasama na yun bayad sa delivery ng UPS using my card via paypal. just check the sellers feedback for credibility and ask questions muna before ordering.

Yes Paypal and binayad co.

And about MF, sa California ang Intl Office nila then meron din sila dito. I think ang binayad co lang all in all ay mga $30-$40 para iuwi yung gitara co (with hardcase) dito.

And siste kasi, pag a)ocean freight, mura pero matagal. Eto ang pinili co. Hinintay co sha ng almost a month.

Then pag b)air cargo naman, mas mahal kasi per timbang ang usapan. pero mabilis, mga 3 days to a week lang yata.

Hindi na kinailangang gawing "gift" para maiuwi. Ok talaga.

Naalala co nga nung time na tinatawagan co sila sa Manila Office nila, paulit ulit aco..

"sigurado ba tong eto lang amount na ito ang babayaran co? baka kasi masurprise aco pagdating ng delivery guy at kung ano ano pa ang singilin etc?"

Gulat nga co nung pag uwi co galing office one day, biglang may malaking kahon na nakatayo sa tabi ng ref namin. Saya saya talaga!

Onga naman sir. Matagal na rin ako bumibili sa ebay pero small items lang. Pag napalaki ng konti kelangan ko pa magintay ng friend or relative na uuwi. Ngayon pati guitar pwede!
