Pros and Cons recording drums using Electric drumset?

i didnt like the trigger io dodj so sold it before i even completed my diy edrum project. iba talaga yung matched na trigger pads at module. pero may market pa rin talaga yung trigger io lalo na for kick drum triggering which it does well enough

I've used my Roland V Drums and Toontrack Superior Drummer Libraries in all of our albums. Controller ko lang yung V Drums. My sound is entirely Superior Drummer. Wala akong masasabi sa tone. Ganda ng pagkakasample.

Sanayan lang gumamit ng edrums. Pag medyo matagal mo nang ginagamit makukuha mo din dynamic range ng mga pads.

ayus talaga yang roland as midi trigger. pero pag murahin edrums, you get what you pay for.

i like the hybrid setup ni ser jake..
as for me, im using a real drum kit but got the kick and toms triggered using VST lang. wala kasi akong module. i just used transducer for trigger. saw it on youtube, it works for me though hehe
