I don't hate yoko but I just don't like her even if she gave 5M yen lately. She's also one of the reason of the Beatles break. Bukas ka lang Yoko.. hehe antok na ako

Yoko Ono: John wanted me to be a part of the group. He created the group, so he thought others would accept that.

The most dangerous tensions during January 1969, though, passed between Harrison and Lennon. George now found that Yoko sometimes sometimes had a voice in band matters that equaled or even bested his. When crucial issues came up, Lennon would say nothing, deferring to whatever Yoko thought- which drove the three Beatles crazy. Paul felt he had no place telling John to leave Yoko at home. When George walked out Paul & Ringo seemed shocked. Bot John was unruffled, essentially mocking Harrisons anguish. Later that day, Yoko took George place, grabbed a microphone & launched into a wordless blues while Ringo & Paul joined in just to keep John. John later that afternoon suggested recruiting Clapton to replace George but on January 12, 1969 the four of them met at Ringos house to resolve their differences.

But when Yoko persisted speaking in John's behalf George walked out again. The Beatles finally reached an accord later but George imposed stiff terms: No more talk of major live concerts and no more work at Twickenham studios (referring to the making of Let it be). Yoko will remain in attendance at all sessions, alongside John.

John reasoned out that Yoko only want to be accepted and become one of them, Ringo replied that she's not a Beatle and she will never be.

got no idea bro? I heard John's voice pero merong weird din na boses hehe.

anyway there was an incident during the Let it be sessions a take was interupted because Paul heard another voice, they caught Yoko coaching John how to sing it properly( of course sa isip nya lang yon)

Mas gusto ko Phil Spector produced na "Let It Be" kaysa LIB..Naked. If LIB was released the way Naked was, it would not have become a legendary album. LIB could have just become an ordinary compilation of Beatles materials. Phil Spector even co-produced Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, Imagine and All Things Must Pass which became hit albums and were considered by music critcs as some of the most infuential albums of the rock era.

Si Paul & Ringgo lang naman ang umaangal. George Martin also was quoted saying that he did not want to have anything to do with the LIB recording because of the Beatles turmoil at that time.

The Wall of Sound did not change the Beatles sound. It was just produced that way. Hindi naman overcooked. It's just that the other Beatles did not have the taste for it. Despite some overdubs that were not originally part of the album, its rawness remains.

di ata kasama ung "long and winding road" dun sa phil spector produced LIB.

eto ang trivia ko, pero malamang alam nyo na to: frank sinatra said that "something" was the greatest love song ever written. wow, that's a great compliment from a great artist.

speaking of "something", pattie boyd once said that that song was written for her by george. however, george denied this many times.

let's just say that it was indeed for pattie, think about this: the great layla album was made by clapton because of his then growing love for pattie, and if i'm not mistaken she was also the inspiration for "wonderful tonight" by clapton. wow, she's at the center of some of rock's most beautiful pieces

Frank Sinatra mistaken "something" as a Lennon Mc Cartney penned song

Not only that. Klein & Phil Spector didn't want George Martin to be a part of the recording since He is a musical arranger :? and what's wrong with that? palagay ko  :-D di lang sila mapapalagay pag anjan si George Martin knowing his vast contribution to the Beatles music, he played piano in "In my Life" and is mainly responsible for the orchestrations in their records.

In March, Lennon turned over the Jan. 1969 tapes - which he described as "the [gooey brown stuff] load of badly recorded [gooey brown stuff] with a lousy feeling to it ever"- to legendary " The wall of sound" producer Phil Spector. Neither Klein nor Spector wanted George Martin involved. " I don't consider him in my league", Spector said, he's an arranger that's all.

The Let it be changes that Spector brought were, at best, for the worse, stifling both Pauls title song & heartfelt ballad " The long & winding road".His modification seemed so perverse at one point that Starr, who attended the overdubbing session, dragged the producer from the studio by the arm, and reprimanded him. During this time, Spector never consulted Paul about the changes he was making, which may have been Lennon & Kleins intention. After finally hearing Spectors new mixes, Paul requested changes, but Klein told him it was too late. (in late 2003, Paul & Ringo would issue a version of Let it be.. Naked, meaning Free from Spectors arrangements.

The Beatles break-up had long been written as early as ten years after they decided to call it quits. In fact just later after that decision, in  a TV interview, Lennon was almost near to admit the real story behind the falling apart. Of course at first, people found it hard to believe that the cause of the  Beatles ending was other than musical difference. After many years, the remaining Beatles were no longer reluctant to finally confess what contributed to the disintegration of the band.

did you know about the healthy rivalry between the beatles and the beach boys during the peppers era? apparently, brian wilson was inspired to make the album pet sounds after hearing rubber soul. and in return, paul was inspired to make sgt pepper's after hearing pet sounds. however, when brian heard strawberry fields he abandoned his plans to finish his ambitious project, the smile album. it's as if he resigned to the fact he could'nt compete with the beatles. brian said, "the beatles got there first"

Me too bro, mas gusto ko yong orig release. But I don't have regrets buying the naked album. But if John is alive today he would be very happy hearing us .

firstly , welcome to the club bros ART & Teddy :-)

Di naman actually nilait tayong mga Pinoy. Iba lang kasi culture natin. nasanay tayo na if malaking tao tayo o nasa mataas na posisyon, ang iniisip natin na automatic pupunta ka sa akin as courtesy. sila naman, kailangan imbitahan mo. they were not invited formally to appear in Malacanang kaya di rin sila nagpunta, nagulat pa nga daw sila nong may news na lumalabas at the very time when they were still here. I guess plastic soul & ninejuicyjulius can tell you exactlly about this.. A little back read bros.

I've read somewhere too that once Macca knows that a Pinoy wants to interview him, he refuses.
