merong mga composers na kumuha sa kanila to sing their obra or they asked the composers to write something for them.

try mo kayang kalabitin baka tumunog...

parehas kayong may point, sir fretboard and sir musiciannurse28, pero i think mas pinpoint yung kay sir fretboard. usually pag sinabing session artist ka, you play what is required and you don't contribute to the construction of the song. collaboration na yun pag ganun eh.

Yup yup! Mismo ka dyan sir :) Yung mga pre-composed na yan bale tinugtog na ng mga sessionist with its composer(collaboration) like sir Vehnee then may kukunin na silang artist na kakanta non tama? Just like what he did kina Sarah G and other artists pa.

Yup. There's a big difference. :) Pero di ba doing a collaboration with the composer, if you're a sessionist naman talaga, sessionist ka pa rin ni mr. composer? The two just did an obra together. Correct me if I'm wrong sir fretboard.

try mo kayang kalabitin baka tumunog...

Let's hear your story sir.. Share na yan

having bandmates for an original band...
hindi naman kami madalas mag practice...understandable un, kasi they have day jobs at ako naman pumapasok sa college...
pero ung mas marami time nung kabanda mo sa ibang extra curricular than music like kunyari our vocalist...i gave her an instrumental track like 2 to 3 months ago,
minsan inaabot ng 3 to 4 days or a week, pero ganun kahaba?..

Pwede namang pag sabayin ah? You have your own band at the same time nag session ka sa iba pag wala kayong schedule ng togs.

i like having my own band. tried it once before, it was a blast.

you write your song, you perform your song. panalo.

but i like doing session work for others. no drama, and i feel like my skills get pushed more (especially if the band's instrumentalists are pretty good)
