Title: Acoustic band setup + SUBWOOFER
Post by: dencious on March 11, 2014, 04:25:34 PM

Good day to all,

Need ko lang po ng some feed back,

We are playing as Acoustic Trio on a bar and ung set up ng DJ po sa stage doon ay 2 speakers and 2 subs. clarify ko lang kung need ba naming gamitin ung sub for an acoustic setup. kasi nung 1st night nmin may mga bass notes na masyadong maugong like "open E" and natatabunan ung ibang notes sa acoustic guitar.

The DJ is using the subs para sa mga DJ music nya.

Is there a way para di lumabas ung tunog namin sa Subs.

For me kasi gusto ko ung tunog ng acoustic set up kung natural lang with a reverb lang.

:) THANKS po sa mga magbibigay ng INPUTS at sana makatulong din sa ibang makakabasa.

thanx skin,

sinasabi mo bang EQ ay ung EQ ng mixer o ung hiwalay na EQ? meron din kasi syang gamit na external EQ (not sure how many bands it is).

Sa mixer nya ay may Group 1 and 2, is it posible na sa group 1 kami tapos ung DJ song na Group 2 with the sub?

Thank you very much skin.

I think the simplest solution is just switch off the subs' power amp.

Ask the "dj" to calibrate the system and ringout frequencies thats proper for the venue=) sana alam ng dj gawin iyon kasi most of them hangang playback lang ng recorded material ibang usapan kasi pag live band sounds na kahit na acoustic set-up lang you need a sound tech na. Check if the system has a GEQ (graphic eq)and ask them to adjust it. Aux feeding the subs will also help rather than chained sa main speakers.

This. or pag ayaw talaga nung DJ, most probably may PreAmp kayo na ginagamit sa guitar niyo. bawas bass ka dun. pag walang preamp, sa mixer na mismo, bawas bass.
