Bukas na yung DC skatepark in Festivall Mall alabang. All the works! Hubba Stairs, half pipe, fun box, banks, box jump, spine ramp, steel rail, curve ledge, 5 ft quarter. Free entrance pero No Helmet, no skate policy.

I used to skate back in the day when I was in the US. One observation is that there are many huge skate parks there (Reno, Nevada). Bowls vary in depths. There are shallow ones and also those pretty scary deep ones. Of course, there were obstacles and ramps too. Also, there are numerous skaters compromising mostly of teens and kids; I mean literally kids maybe like 7-9.

Moving on, I have learned a lot since when I my friend taught us tricks -- which was an amateur skater sponsored by DC. Also, all of my half-pinoy friends were skaters also so that gives me somehow the motivation. Everyday was painful since I can't seem to accomplish dropping in to the bowl, and falling down everytime I fail trying to do a trick. But it was fun though

When I got back here, I gave my 2 skateboards to my friend, who skates around at kfc buendia. Definitely missing those days as I read through this thread. All of it was just a memory. Music is my hobby now

mas maganda parin mga cupsole skate shoes noon kesa sa mga vulcanized para sakin. sacrifice feet protection/comfort for boardfeel.

o nga pala, bakit hyped kayo masyado sa Nike SB? i mean, oo maganda SB, marami me suot and pati colorways, e about 90% naman ng nakasuot e mga scenesters/fashionista/yuppies who don't give a damn about the sport. marami naman dyan ibang mga brands like es, emerica, etnies, circa, fallen, ipath, lakai, dvs, adio ( though wala na sila skate team ). wag magpapadala dahil lang sa uso.

oo, kanya kanyang trip nga lang yan e, pero, i can't help but wonder..

i do play longboard mga 2 years ago, after my elbow incident huminto na ko
pero naka display pa din yung board ko sa bahay.
guys pls do wear helmet and pads for your safety, accident happens anytime.
para mas ma enjoy pa natin ang pagalalaro

yeah, ako rin mas gusto ko yung mga skate shoes dati, ramdam mo talaga yung hagod sa paa mo, magaang pa, yun nga lang mas mabilis nga lang mabutas kaysa sa mga "new school" na skate shoes ngayon.

Andami ngang mga naka Janoski na mga coño, pero anyways, pera naman nila yun, suotin nila gusto nilang suotin. Walang pakielamanan ika nga
