Help on my UCA 202 U control audio interface

Sir, Help nman po I recently purchased a UCA 202 interface and can't seem to make it work on my PC.

Here's my setup:
PC - HP laptop core 2 duo Processor
OS - windows XP
mixer -  Behringer 4 channel mixer
Recording software - Adobe Audition 1.5
Mic - Shure SM58
ASIO installed.

Ganito ko po sya nka wire   ' MIC 1  to ---->  Mixer via RCA jack to--- > UCA 202 via USB to ---->  PC'  nun nag start nko mag record walang pumapasok na signal sa PC or walang na rerecord via the Adobe audition software, however naririnig ko ang boses sa monitor head phone n nka plug sa UCA 202 interface.

Ano kya ang na missed ko n step wala nman driver n kasama ung Interface ang sbi sa store at sa mga review plug and play lng sya...

ibalik ko nlng ba sa store o may solution p ito?

check your asio driver. better yet, remove your asio driver and just use the standard WDM drivers.

kapag asio driver ang gamit mo, madalas 100% ang cpu utilization mo kaya less plugins ang pwede mong gamitin.

Two possibilities off the top of my head:

1) You don't have the drivers installed (you can download the standard ASIO drivers or the Behringer drivers from this page: http://www.behringer.de/EN/Products/UCA202.aspx)

2) You have the drivers installed, but you don't have the proper I/O device selected for the program you're using.

Check your track settings in Audition.  You might have the wrong input.

go to edit - audio hardware setup - edit view pakicheck kung yama config mo ng input and output.hope this helps.

Ok na mga Sir, problem solved. sa Option > device mapper lng pala hindi nka point ung USB sound codec. After pointing that in ok na... thnks po sa mga nag reply.
