ask ko lang about wire color coding ng dimarzio evolution compared sa inf 1 and 2, my guitar is Ibanez Rg321ex with H-H and 5 way switch, i assumed na ganito yung color coding:

Inf 1 & 2                      Dimarzio evolution
Red                   =           Red
White                =           White
Black                 =           Black
Blue                  =           Green
Bare                  =           Bare

Malapit nako maging 36th Anniv user! :-D

May mas okay pa kaya dito for my LesPaul which will be used mainly for fat/warm overdriven/distorted sound? (not muddy) TIA! :-D
Suhr SSV sir. It is my favorite PAF variant.

I tried the 36th before, but the Duncan 59 is more organic & classic sounding.

Which DMZ humbucker (for bridge) would be a perfect combo for Chopper on neck?

Choices are:
Fred,
PAF Pro,
Super Distortion/ Dual Sound and
Steve's Special

Thanks a bunch!!!

Alder, solidbody, 25.5" scale, dinky style.Output between medium and high... Ended up buying the Fred, SS and SD to let my ears decide. But I think Imma lean on SD the most.

hi guys. i now currently own the following dimarzios: air norton s, cruiser, AT-1. I plan to install these pickups to my old lyon HSS guitar (cheap fat stratocaster) since i still want to use my first ever electric guitar (sentimental value). i initially planned to buy the tonezone as a bridge pickup but reviews showed a love or hate relationship to it (as far as i know, the tone zone was made for superstrats so im guessing, basswood?). with that in mind, i opted for the AT-1.  im currently indecisive whether or not to install the cruiser or the air norton in the neck position. any thoughts?

i always dig the classic gibson humbucker neck pickup tone (lead and rhythm tone) but im currently falling in love with the classic fender single coil neck tone (lead tone).

recently made the leap from SD Stacks to Dimarzio Area Ts.

The differences were huge.

TWANG. And punch, and chime. Enough of it to fool folks into thinking that I'm running pure SCs.

Nice! Welcome to the club!!! I presume you got the DP417 coupled with 421? 418? or 424?

Guys, need your opinion on Liquifire/ Super Distortion combo. Guitar is a Pine Strat, roasted Maple neck, Granadillo fretboard. Sound in mind - heavy, brawny, almost djent.

Thanks!

liquifire is good. super distortion, tried it on ash which i think has similar wood density/tone characteristic to pine. correct me if im wrong though. it can do metal really well but djent which requires more of mids in mind, you are better off with the ff:
dominion
titan
illuminator
imperium
d activator
paf/7

its characteristics is almost similar to tone zone. abit more bassy. on the above i mentioned and tried, my fave was the dominion6, imperium7. second is the titan6/7. provided you dial in the right amp settings. but taste is subjective though. you might be able to dial in a good sound that i cant or dont like.
sound reference: axefx2 based on fas modern model
ibanez rg752ahm (ash body, maple neck)

sample clip i recorder sometime ago
