Nagca-canvass ako ng cymbals sa SM megamall at na curious ako nun nakita ko 'tong Istanbul mehmets dahil mura kumara sa 'big three' (Meinl, Zildjian and Sabian) na nasubukan ko.

Tapos nakita ko 'tong thread nyo about istanbul at puro magaganda reviews nyo sa kanila....kaya convinced ako na istanbuls nalang bibilhin ko.

Ano po ang pwede nyong i-recommend sa akin na cymbal pack ng istanbul mehmets? Generally, ang hanap kasi kong sound ay parang kay ringo starr na dark and washy na maganda yun stick definition. Parang ganito:

Yun budget would be around 10 to 16k max....kaya todo ipon ako ngayon

mine's a 22" ride, btw. same characteristics, just a bit darker.

it was either this, or the dark origin ride. this, when playing it as a crash, is just more, well...beautiful.

andami na ulit stock sa Lazer Ali Mall. may Trad, Dark Origin, at Turk rides akong nakita. may Murathan and Xperience din. may 20" ML ride pa. dami ring crashes. i bet may mga hats din, nakatago lang. palibhasa malapit na sweldo.

mga sir planing to get an istanbul cymbals need ko advice sa inyo if ano yung istanbul na pde sa church? or counter part ng sabian AAX at HHX yung malapit jan na sound.

dark ang hhx, bright naman ang aax. samatya kunin mo inbetween ng dark and bright.

the radiant lines are bright sounding. the sultan line on the other hand is "the shiznit"

you could try the traditional lines as well. swabeng swabe yung series na yun!

Guys, any ideas kung meron na Traditional Custom Dry Ride 21" (Model Code RCD - 21) and kung meron man magkano? thanks!
