Sabagay kanya kanyang trip yan.. Ung iba they prefer K Custom Medium Ride Ung iba Sweet Ride..
Parang ganito yan e..Sa iba ayaw nila sa Z Custom line kasi sobrang lakas.. Pero ako gustong gusto ko Z Custom Mediums kasi hindi n kailangan ng Mics.. I own 2 Z Custom Medium Crashes 17 & 18..  :-D

ang laki ng budget mo for a crash cymbal bro. pero i think a customs or avedis would go well with your samatya set. madami kang options sa laki ng cash in hand mo. sa huli ikaw din mag dedecide.  :-)

Hmmn..Sa akin lang I owned 18" Z3 Medium Crash and 18" Z Custom Medium Crash at the same time. binenta ko ung Z3 kasi hnd ko nagustuhan ung Tunog. I found na mas Ok ung Z Custom even on Medium Volume Setting..ung Z3 talagang For Loud Volume Settings lang.

Pero sabi nila hear it on your own..

hey bro.. just wanna ask if you've tried the sweet ride in a recording situation? i had a 22" k custom medium ride and was pleased with it when played live; but it's too deep and won't cut through in the recording.. i swapped it with a 20" k custom ride (brilliant finish) and it sounds good in the record, but for me, it's too small (20") in a live situation.. now, i'm having thoughts on buying a sweet ride (21"), do you recommend it on recording too? senxa na, im from cebu.. i don't speak much tagalog..

never tried sa "studio recording" sir, only recorded in our house by sony cybershot,..

in my opinion,it is pretty moderate sounding ride, dont expect the bell to cut that much , and sweet ride easily opens up ,..

but if you "wash ride" it BOOOM awesome!

sweet ride for me, currently used as a CrashRide  :-)

Zildjian 20" K custom dark ride

Tried the K Cus Dark ( mine is about 2,186 lbs.) for about a year. bago ako ako nakabasag... :-D
-More wash, nice body with dry overtones
-Sort a large crash
-sarap bugbugen sa fast rock or alt-pop / alt-pop

-Body on the other hand,  with its medium overtones, I think applicable dito ang jazz...
-Pwede rin i crash-ride kaso its not as good as the KCDR...
-Pero pag binugbog mo medio maingay, baka marindi yung mga kabanda mo.

Pero if I were you, based on your genre (Pop, Jazz, Funk and Alt-rock), I suggest K Dark Medium Ride 22"-WTF!
K Dark Medium Ride 22"
-Nice Bell
-Nice and full bodied ride
-Nice wash
-Tamang tama ang weight...

Hope it helps...
