Very realistic! :-)
I'm intrigued by how Arie achieved the cracked finish. The dings & discolorations look really natural too.

WOW. It's probably one of the best local relic jobs I've seen in my life! Pati yung cracks very detailed. I like the subtle darkening of some spots in the body. The maple neck looks played for 40 years and the belt scratches are well-patterned. Awesome work by Arie! :-o

what guitar is it I wonder?
Is the neck maple? bat parang mapula ata, or is it just because of the camera...the wood grain looks like its mahogany...

but of course, maybe firemodel can shed more light into this...

hapi new year one and all.

Nice job.  How'd he do the cracking thing?  I read somewhere that one "home technique" was to put the body in the freezer overnight, and then expose it to a heater.  I'm sure though that Arie took a more scientific approach...  :-D

The guitar must've been exposed to extremes.. Nice relic job, Arie!! I'd like to know the intended year and orig color though..

IMHO, the cracks in the paint doesn't look natural but it still looks good  :-)

Naisip ko 'to. Exposure to extreme cold.. then heat. I think the finish of a forumer's strat has a cracked finish because of his air-conditioned room. Hindi laging naka-on. I forgot who though..
