Mga master :) pahelp naman ako. want ko ksing mag home studio. balak kong matuto. pano po kaya :(( pls help. newbie here  and ano po ung basic na kailangan ko

To get you started even faster, I'll drop a shopping list right here before you delve into those threads which will answer pretty much everything else you probably will ask.

You will need the following for a very basic home recording setup:

- a decent computer. Dual core pentium 4 or higher. No celeron or atom. 2GB ram for a small solo project rig, 4GB at least for full 8 track or higher simultaneous recording.
- USB audio interface. A basic 2 in 2 out will suffice.
-at least one mic. Ideally a "large" diaphragm condenser if you can only have one, such as the AT2020.
-necessary cables (XLR, instrument cables)
-very good headphones (no lifestyle brands. Stick to sennheiser, audio technica, grado, Sony, AKG, the like.
-mic stands
-pop filter for vocals

You will also need software. We love REAPER around here.

^ basically the whole package, broken to more easily digestible parts!

Newbie, magkano budget mo for your home studio? those items listed above don't come cheap. Except Reaper.. hah!
