QUESTION: A custom EFX 16" or HHX o-zone crash 16"

mga sirs.. what do you prefer? il be buying this week. parehas okay yung quality but can someone help me describe yung sound ng each and its differences. =) thank you!

- anyways, ano sa tingin mo ung maganda
first: sound-wise
second: budget-wise.. if budget walang problema, it all boils down to sound..

* ozone mas dark and thrashy.. whilst ung efx bright yet thrashy.. kung ano ung mas pasok sa genre mo dun ka sumunod, don't stick with the brand, stick with the sound..

if you have a tight budget go ko sa a custom EFX,

but if you afford to buy hhx o-zone.. mag O-zone ka lang

for me mas ok ang hhx O-zone mas darker and trashier ang sound nya compare sa a custom EFX

^^ agree with Riff_66603 and yujin07.

Also, since EFX will crash cleaner, and can more be used for normal crashing than as effect or accenting. O-zone is more china-ey, and so can more be used as an effect or for accenting.

Great choice bro! tapos kapag hindi mo na trip yung sound just PM me anytime.. (naku poh mukhang malabo pero libre naman umasa..)

My take on crashing with the A Custom EFX is that it may not last that long it terms of durability. It may develop cracks in the long run by the punch-outs (holes). I was crashing a lot on my 18" EFX, not in an abusive way, and it developed these cracks. I sold it eventually and got a China. I think it still may be better for accenting. Great cymbal nevertheless.
