reference pure ba talaga na kit ito? as what pearl announced that mike mangini will be using a reference pure series. i wonder how it sounds. my enough punch at loudness kaya yung thin shells for DT songs.

mukhang reference pure nga sa nipis ng shell (check out the gong drum)

siguro mangini wanted to slightly deviate from MP's drum sound kaya he opted to use thinner shells.

SEMI OT: may upcoming album na din sila feat mangini, sept 13 yung release. you should check out their teaser track "on the backs of angels", medyo hawig in a way yung tunog pero meron pa ding distinct "mangini sound" na nangingibabaw.
