Nice nostalgic clip!
Joey says it's circa '76, using a Les Paul through an ElectroHarmonix Bad Stone Shifter into a small all-tube Teisco amp, a hand-me-down from an uncle who played in a combo
He did everything except the short 8-bar outro at the end. That was Johnny using a '62 SG with a Black Beauty pickup, found in Raon for (guess what?) a grand
Joey even adds, "You know what, it's funny but when I recall those times, I can almost see a picture (in my mind's eye) of us playing the gear. We didn't have real Fender amps because they were too expensive so we used what we could get - local tube knockoffs by Anthony's in Sta. Mesa. He copied Bandmaster circuits and sold them for 500 bucks." He got a 50w combo and stuck an Altec speaker in it. That was his Mother Earth setup.
What a memory, huh?
