if you can't join them, beat them!

@ phreq - baka ibang model yun nakita mo

@ cris - mas ok cguro pag kukuha ka with packaged cymbals, be it planet z or zbt. onti lng kc dagdag mo tas mabebenta mo pa ng matinong presyo kung ayaw mo gamitin, that's what i did

ito yung nakuha kong kit early this month for 26k sa jb southmall pero i already sold the planet z3 package and the 8" tom and replaced 'em with better ones. the tom mounts are ISS even the 14" hanging tom and for a local brand sobrang sulit tumunog to. i like this kit better than my pearl forum or my sonor force 505, kuhang kuha yung range ko boom na boom pa yung 20x18 bass drum! i also compared the rack, kamukhang kamukha ng sa tama swingstar. sulit drumset talaga to, i would even let you try it out dalan mo lng ako ng meryenda :-D another thing, IMO mas ok cguro if you keep the logo kasi kahit anong mangyari fernando pa din yang kit

ganda neto sir. cant wait to go back to the philippines para mabilan ko na nephew ko. oh well its just my way of justifying a drum kit. weheheh.

The new Fernando drums have been around for a while now. For early buyers (mga last year nabili)... kumusta ang reliability/durability in hardware and the shells?

I've had my fernando for a little over a year now, ito ung first of the sparkle finishes with wood bass hoops and hanging main toms. So far ok naman cya, wala pang bumibigay na hardware, considering tinker bot ako eheheh ay meron na pala, yung screw locking the ball mount sa tom isa lang na lost thread kakakalkal ko hahaha my bad other than that ok sa alright pa cya. no complaints here except gusto ko ng size 14 na tom hehehe
matututo kaya ako magdrums? kelan kaya iyon...

Hello there bro inigo... I think I'm the thread starter here... Hehe... Well my fernando drumkit was bought on summer last year. :-)

same here. i bought a gibraltar hi hat clutch. i had a hard time with my stock hi hat clutch because the lock falls off and my hi hat falls as well..

in my case, all my hardwares, shells, lugs, etc. are still in shape. i just changed the heads of my drums. kaya ngayon, maganda na tunog niya. :-)

mga boss, galing ako sa JB kahapon..  may nakita ako na fernando Z-Series for only 11k.  sabi nila kasama din daw sa mga bagong fernando kit yun kaso parang ang nakalagay e yung lumang logo ng fernando.  naghahanap kasi ko ng murang kit for practice.  sa tingin nyo good buy ito?!  hindi kasi ako marunong tumingin.  calling all fernando experts dyan (sir peeves, sir franco, etc.).  ano masasabi nyo mga sir?

ako fernando m2000 parin ang gamit! haha. 2nd hand ko siya binili pero kahit kelan di ko papakawalan to. may sentimental value na to sakin kasi 1st kit ko to. kung makabili man ako ng bagong kit in the future, di ko i-didispose to. hehe.

Ako may na notice na hindi ayos sa hardware ng new fernandos in particular yung drum isolation mounts (yung kamukha nung bagong Tama Starcast mount.)  My fernando kit was bought last February. :-(.  Yung sa 12" tom meron na slight bend na just like the 14tom pero hindi pa sumasayad sa shell.  Hindi naman ako heavy hitter.  I think the strength of the die cast part cannot withstand the weight of the toms.  All the other hardwares ok naman, hindi ko lang gusto response ng pedals as well as the hihat stand.  Yung snare stand medyo ma-wobble.  Shells are good and still great sounding!
