Bro, the best thing to do to come up with the best decision when buying is to search the internet for product reviews.

Im not familiar with the gibraltar intruder, but I have Pearl Elim Powershifter which Im very satisfied with.
Checkout the product's special features, not just the special bargain that you can get.
It could be a long-term investment, kaya dun ka na sa magandang klase!

I just bought recently a Gibraltar Intruder Direct Drive Pedal sa Manila Music sa Raon for P6,100.

So far I am very satisfied with it's stability and feel(lalo na itong direct drive) and of course the looks.

Pedal bag is included.

Smooth sya at stable.

i read somewhere that this is the so called "poor man's direct link pedal" kasi the famous direct link types are so expensive from Axis and Trick...kaya if i were u guys, go and grab one (or two for double pedals) as soon as you can coz at this 6k plus, it truly is a bargain. and its made by gibraltar, they only make the best hardwares around, don't they? :P

Personal preference mo yan bro. Try out both pedals and you'll surely know what you want. I am not a fan of strap drive kse.:-)

Visit the gibraltar site for more info on these pedals

they're both lighter than chain driven pedals, notwithstanding major tweakings of course, but in general they're lighter.

between strap and direct link...with the direct, there is no slack or tension gap between strokes, very accurate and real time...whereas with the strap, there is a slight tendency to slack, but this is only noticeable with advance and fast pedal footwork na. pros notice this slack issue with both strap and chain drivers, hence direct link came into life to solve this problem.

to sum it all up, if it feels perfect for you and you're not half-hearted about it, go for it. its down to your personal taste and preference really.

Nice one Champ. You said it exactly up to the miliseconds just like the direct drive. Exacto!:-)
