Yo Bro, I'm digging the middle position a lot. The p90s on this tele combined with the tonal qualities of basswood gave some sort of chimey sound, too bright and too weird. While the bridge pickup needs a lot of tweaking to achieve that sort of Tele bite but put it on the middle position, there's the Telecaster twang.

Joining the club... My Fender Keith Richards Sonny Reissue MIJ. Neck pocket is for a humbucker but changed the pups to a 51 Vintage Nocaster Fender Custom Shop Pickups.

japanese tele? look at the neck pocket and check what's the exact model then cross reference the year and model to the typical wood used.
