Bros I rented the EP4000 of my friend just to bench test it on actual set-up. Gamit kong subs sa isang grupo ay dual 18" with the older version p audio c18 650 watts. My usual amps sa subs are QSC RMX5050. 4 ohms loading.

Our observations:

= RMX5050 is powerful than the EP4000 pero mga 20% louder lang max.

= Sound output quality is almost the same.

= Price of the RMX5050 (sa Audiophile dati) was 88k +. EP4000 is 25k only. Bang for the buck!

True the QSC RMX5050 is well known for its durability and over-all sound quality. It's water under the bridge as the saying goes.

But at any rate the Behringer EP4000's price and unexpected impressive sound output (based on my experience) is a must have on the amplifier rack.

actually im looking at some very intresting output stages for build in ...2400 watt 8 ohm continous power he he ...what i need to know is how much ill be charged in tax duty and so on by importing to phils

how does 100.000 peso sound for 2 pcs wsx 18 with jh186 and 2400 watt rms continous 8 ohm amp build in each ...is that an outrageous price

...all new ...wont be near future but5 soon 1-1½ year probably if all goes well ...biggest issue now is importtax and duty on the powerstages

maybe you should also notice that most of the comments here are actually about other amps and especially for sub use .......so the relevance might be there a bit ;o) ....lookinjg at the whole thread it seems the subject is powering subs ...and not so much the actual amp ep4000 he he ...by the way its peak wattage those 4000 not rms ;o)
