Good SHREDDING guitars

Ei guys, patulong naman. Pinagbili ko kasi yung Ibanez ARC300 ko kasi nung nakatagalan, di na ko comfortable d'un sa neck niya.

Could you give me some suggestions on nice, very playable guitars? If you suggest something from Ibanez, pabigay naman nung specific model. Sound is important too so don't forget that....

for shredding, definitely Ibanez. any 24-fret Ibby is a good shredding machine (given the skill)

sa sound, depende rin sa pickups eh. well, siguro hindi ako fit para sagutin un kasi i dont have an ibanez guitar.

anyway I'd have to say the wizard necks of Ibby's make it the best shredding machines on the planet,hehe. unless of course mga custom guitars and I'm sure meron dyan.

I also have one like that, mine comes with rosewood fretboard. H-s-s Pickups. Push pull tone knob.
Model nga pala nya Washburn KC-40.

Ibanez for shredding for sure. As for the model... hmm.. mostly RG's and JEM's are what I prefer... pero you have to try it para malaman mo if comfortable ka.

jackson and b.c. rich guitars are also good for shredding.

Basically, for shred guitars, one is looking for the following:
1. Flat fretboards (16 inch radius is the most ideal)
2. 24 frets o di kaya 22
3. Humbucker on the bridge pickup position
4. Floyd Rose or any locking trem system

But then again, Malmsteen uses a strat.

But the above enumerated are the rough guidelines in buying a shred guitar.

Washburn, Jackson, B.C. Rich, Ibanez, Charvel - those are the most common brands in shred guitars. They were first called SUPERSTRATS.

i find it easier to shred with my ibby arc-300 than an rg or an s.

I had the same guitar as you bro. Maganda nga yung ARC300, medyo makapal nga lang yung neck. Maliit kasi ang kamay ko e; pero kung hindi naman gaano focus ang shred sa style mo, magandang gitara nga yan. Ako kasi, mabuti na yung PWEDE mag-shred.

Better to HAVE the option to shred and not need it than to NEED the option to shred and not have it.
