Ever since na natutuo ako magdrums eh wala pa akong kit. haha. :-D

May mga routines akong ginagawa:
1. Listen to different type of music (In this way, mas nakakapag focus ako sa music na pinapakinggan ko.)
3. Weekend practice sa church. This time, naaapply ko na yung mga ginawa ko nung weekdays.
4. Watch Instructional videos and drum covers. :) Feeds my appetite.  :-D
drumming is my greatest way to praise the Lord!

What I do, i imagine myself na may drum kit ako. Hahaha. Sige lang, I enjoy it. Passion ang pagiging isang musikero. :) Waiting for or before December, maka bili ng drum kit na around 9K - 11K. Practice lang, atleast may libangan. Diba?

My brother's friend used to practice with his "timba" drumset. Yung cymbals niya eh walis tingting.

sir anong klaseng stapler yan.. interesting ah.

Practice pad pa rin sir and a good quality pair of sticks. Treat it as an investment na lang kung gusto mo na talagang mag drums at hindi na mag gitara. Don't get me wrong, hindi naman sa high end gears vs. technique ito. Mas gaganahan ka lang talaga mag ensayo at gamitin if you have the right equipment. After all, nag invest ka na rin.

thanks sa mga input nyo mga sir.  :-D  I found some basic rudiments on youtube.  like: R-right L-left eg: R1 L2 L3 R4 then L1 R2 R3 L4 repeat with same accent to build speed and accuracy  tapos put accent daw sa first note then same accent on note 2,3,4.. then after mastering the accent on the first note move to the 2nd note and so on.. will i benefit from practicing this? will this improve my playing when i get to play on real drums? thank you mga sirs

Sakto lang. But it would be much beneficial if you practice or study it with someone who's actually there for you. Not necessarily a drum teacher but at least a friend or someone you know who knows how to play drums. One disadvantage of learning on some videos "only" online is that nobody would tell you if you're doing it right or wrong. If the technique is good enough or still needs improvement. Yes you're capturing ideas but that's not enough. Nobody will correct you. Sometimes you'll feel like you're doing good but in reality you're not. I'm not pulling you down sir or anything, this is just an honest statement. You need someone who would help you and show you how to nail it properly. Remember sir, it's hard to change a bad habit once you get used to it. Good luck!

Pwede mo rin gamitin yung mouse pad as improvise drum pad. Double it para mas maganda yung bounce. Or raketa ng table tennis. Practice lang ng different strokes. And muscle memory.  :-D

ginawa ko is nood youtube, mga basic beats muna , 4/4  for me is a good foundation.

tapos I started listening and watching nung mga videos nung mga live performances pero yung mga madadali muna. tapos sa bahay, wala din ako practice pad, pero I am using yung mga hard cover books. para pag pasok sa studio, application na.

tuloy lang sir, rock on :D

BAM! sticking practice!
THIS!! White pages (people listing), mas makapal!

Sabi nga sakin dati, when you can make a single drum sound like you're playing a whole kit, yun na.

Ganyan din ako nagpractice for YEARS bago ko nakuha yung drums ko last last year lang  :-o
