has anyone here seen these guitars??

napasyal kasi ako kahapon sa raon dahil namili ako sa deeco then nagikot-ikot ako..pagpunta ko sa isang branch ng salonga nakita ko agad yung zakk wylde LP so nilapitan ko..

medyo nagulat ako kasi gibson nakalagay sa headstock,beside it meron namang tobacco burst yata na ganun din..yung pickups nya meron pang sticker ng gibson,hindi sila yung bastang gawa lang na parang ericson ba yon..kalevel siguro nung fake ibbys,anyway beside those gibsons is a fake jem and a fake strat..

Only that time, all those pirates are totally made in the Philippines.
During the 80s, go to Raon, you can see fake Kramers, Fenders, Gibsons, Steinbergers, Jacksons.
Plus designs that you will never see in the brand's catalogs were being made.
Say, how about a Steinberger that you thought was headles has the tuning machines BELOW THE BRIDGE.
Or a Kramer that is shaped like two crescent moons joined together in which the edges of the crescent are the cutaways plus a tremolo system that looks like a Kahler but doesn't require a locking nut!
Or a strat with a poor attempt to imitate a Mustang tremolo system - all these guitars with NO TRUSS ROD pero most necks don't warp!
Ah those were great times for amateur musicians then like me at the time!

I saw a Squier california series strat sa Lazer festival mall. AFAIK, those are not fake. I've read somewhere that the california series are for the Asian market only. It's not even on the website.

fake yan kapag yung serial number ay hindi mo ma verify sa gibson company...
also puwede rin common sense halimbawa nakasulat lang sa taas gibson walang "Les Paul Model"(except nlng in special cases ito) pag gusto mo talaga malaman kung gibson yan, feel mo yung neck

yeah i think those arent fake..seen some plus G1xn in RJ also,i asked the salesman and he said "singit lang yan"..they are not the official dealer of those

mga fake yung mga fender cali na yun. i-check mo yung stamp ng logo sa likod ng bolt-on. parang pintura lang na grayish-blue-ish. ganon din sa pick-up. parang pininturahan lang ng kulay chrome yung logo na SQUIRE by FENDER. di pa nga smooth yung pagkakatira e.
