OD-9 is super nice and i-smooth. Can get heavy sounds by using it as a boost sa amp gain channel mo.

ang mahal ng mistakes ko. nakakatatlo na 'kong distortion pedals (puro boss) and i'm still searching. buti na lang maraming mabait dito. Galing ng thread. dami ko nang natutunan.

OT LANG: speaking of searching... para dun sa mga nawawalan ng gamit (especially guitars and effects), ok lang kaya na magpost tayo ng bagong TOPIC na may listahan ng gear and serial number/s plus pangalan ng owner para maiwasan ang theft? para bago tayo bumili tingnan natin itong thread na ito. ang mamahal ng gamit at ang hirap magipon ng pambili tapos nanakawin lang.

I had to dispose my OD3 due to money concerns but luckily I was able to grab a very good condition Dual Overdrive SD-2

OD3 and SD2 is a very good pedal from Roland

i agree with sir Chito. Go for a BadMonkey. Versatile and has a bit of Cab emulation for direct line out. If you want more gain cascade another! hehe

Para saakin,yung ZDC ko. Hindi sa binubuhat ko yung sarili kong bangko,pero swak na swak siya sa pangangailangan ng playing style ko. IMHO,it suits almost all styles of playing.

-bad monkey (i hated the ts9 as a standalone & to me this sounds better)

tamang-tama, soon-to-be-SD-Invader-equipped pa naman ako.

yung current setup ko kasi 2 dirt pedals na cascaded (para makuha ko closely yung 'new school punk rock' na sound)... gusto ko sana isang pedal na lang to do the job.

Boss OD-3 has a nice bottom end. May cases ng SD-1 daw na nagleleak and it sucks out some tone. If youre going for an SD-1 have it modded i guess.

I personally prefer the od-3 as a main overdrive... not as a booster. Try boosting it with an sd-1

Bad Monkey is the best choice for me... If you are a fan of cascading 2 dirt drive pedals... you can try cascading a Badmonkey with BD-2... I tried it once and, to me, it sounded great. You can also try cascading it with Digitech screamin blues.
