I think there is a slight typo... it may be 647.7mm, not 644.7mm. 647.7mm=25.5inches, which is the traditional Fender scale length. Ramon Jacinto is a music legend, and was once a politician, and the dude likes his Fenders. My guess is Fender to RJ.

I wouldn't have guessed this... but seems like a good deduction. Pero I don't think their (now) general manager is capable of moving a product like this off their shelves. On 2 of their branches they were selling Fenders from RJ's personal collection and you won't even notice it because its layered in the pile of RJ's and some of their managers don't even know how to play guitar (admittedly). Last I heard RJ's already bleeding money in the chain of stores, but who knows the recent sale of UR could bring out cash they can play around with...

RJ just became liquid this 2011. His property company and PNB have resolved their court conflicts... PNB gets the prime lots, while RJ gets a cash settlement. This plus the recent inventory clearance sale is the perfect opportunity to introduce Fender to their product portfolio.

Although I do agree that their retail operations is not very well designed to move products efficiently.
