yep mas mura nga forum. yun yung entry level ng pearl. pataas ng quality dun yung mga export, tapos yung vision at yung export custom, tapos masters custom, masters premium, reference, masterworks.

yung vision ang pangsagot ng pearl sa tama superstar (pareho silang birch + basswood shells, iba lang configuration). kasama ng export custom (6-ply maple, panget hardware) at masters custom (6-ply maple, magandang hardware), ang vision ang pumalit sa session series.

dapat kasi di na lang diniscontinue yung session e... ang gulo pa tuloy na may dalawang magkaibang level ng export at dalawang magkaibang level ng masters. ibalik na kasi nila... tapos gawa sila ng sbx na vintage sunburst... hehe

ah ibig sabihin ko by hardware eh yung kasama na sa drum mismo... yung lugs, hoops, tsaka mounts. yung mcx kasi naka optimount tsaka mastercast hoops, yung ecx naka ISS lang tapos naka 1.6mm hoops nga lang ata (di man lang 2.3mm superhoops e).

supposedly kasi dun lang talaga lumamang yung mcx sa ecx, kaso malamang may pagkakaiba pa rin yan sa kahoy. grade A maple sa masterworks/masters premium, B sa mcx, C sa ecx... parang ganun siguro. kaso baka aesthetic lang na pagkalamang yun (mas maganda grain ng A kesa sa B kaya mas maganda labas kung lapatan ng lacquer finish).

parang nabanggit ni sandy dati na may elims din daw na darating... kung may pearl na peds, malamang yung ibang hardware magkakaroon din.

The other day, I was in JB Park Square in Makati. There I first saw Pearl's new Vision series. I was stunned and impressed because it looks really good. Now I'm having a new option for my drumkit purchase this Christmas.

I saw Pearl pedals on display, though the high-end Eliminators aren't there yet. I'm sure JB wil also bring in Pearl hardware and accessories. I think it will be silly to offer Pearl's drums but not offer their quality hardware.

And they have the Jordison snare in stock, which happens to be one of the snares on my wish list. Nakaka-tempt, especially knowing the fact that JB offers credit card deals. Temptation hehe!

The Vision drums are worth 46K. That's already the discounted price because of the current sale.

Is that the VSX or VLX? Also, may kasama ng hardware (hihat stand, cymbal stand, pedal) or shell pack lang? Walang bundled cymbals?

good questions. sana vlx na yan at may basic hardware na. bale nasa 65k yan kung walang sale... pwede na, kaso mas mura pa rin tama superstars (lalo na kung wala pang hardware yan na kasama).

Ito talaga target ko because of the higher grade maple (compared to ECX) and the optimounts...kung kakayanin ng budget. Malamang by order ito, pero sana may makapagbigay ng price range. Sa Drum Central, you can get a shell pack for as low as $1500. Magkano kaya dito?

ahhh 100+ k yan. same price range yung tinatarget ko na tama starclassic performer b/b (mga 1600 USD yung 5-piece shellpack), aabutin daw ako mga 150+k para sa 6-piece with hardware e.

kaya eto, tumitingin ng vision at ng superstar hehe

kaso parang sarap pumalo ng pinag-ipunan na pro-level kit e...

The kit I saw on display at Park Square has a gun metal sparkle covered finish, so that would be a Vision VSX kit. The kit includes hardware. But there are no bundled cymbals included on the 46K sale package.
