How to spot fake/tampered iPod

I'm planning on buying an iPod video 30G @ ebay, we're gonna meet tomorrow and I'd just like to ask you guys if you know how to spot an iPod that has been tampered or is a fake?

The seller says he bought it like a month ago and it still has warranty and reciept, but I'm really shocked at the selling price, that was what really got my attention and prompted me to buy it.

Can anybody help me?

Fake iPods I've seen have "MP3" sa boxes.  Mainland Chinese have this naming thing going on. Yun lang, AFAIK.

If he has the receipt, you can probably get the store name, number and website and check if the store is an official Apple store. Pero this one takes a bit of time.

30G iPods should go really cheap nowadays, since Mac practically rehashed its media lineup (check it out: www.apple.com).

Pero how cheap? If it's anything around $200, I think you can get one that's similarly-priced (or maybe lower) here na hindi na kailangan ng shipping.

dapat nasa receipt yung s/n nung ipod...
check mo kung makkakaiba sa casing nung ipod.
